Putting on this "Peach Blossom" skin of Jinhsi from Wuthering Waves for a real shoot, the overall color matching and styling details heavily tested the costume production and hair/makeup control. Let's first talk about the fabric of this costume: it uses blue and pink gradient chiffon and light tulle materials, and that flowing sensation when walking perfectly matches the character's own ethereal aura. The chest design is a modified off-the-shoulder style, paired with slightly puffy large water sleeves and lantern sleeves, plus a golden chain at the collarbone and a pink bow decoration. Visually, it carries both a girl's agility and a touch of coolness.

For the wig and headpieces, I chose a silver-white base color with pink and blue highlights styled into double buns, with highly three-dimensional cherry blossoms and pearl petal hair accessories interspersed between the hair strands. The string of delicate metal chains and pearl chains across the forehead is a crowning touch, beautifully framing the face and echoing the golden accessories on the clothes. The makeup enhances the expression of the eyes and brows, incorporating pink-toned eyeshadow and light pink colored contacts to make the gaze look both gentle and spirited. Additionally, the light gold necklace around the neck adds rich layers of detail.

The scene building for this shoot also took a lot of thought. The background uses black-framed Japanese/Chinese screens, paired with large clusters of blooming artificial cherry blossoms. The most outstanding design is a mirrored water platform set up on site, which, combined with the blue-purple cool ambient light from above, creates a dreamy "flowers in a mirror and moon in the water" vibe. In particular, a few photos of sitting and lying on the mirrored surface achieve a fantastic visual effect with the complete reflection on the ground. The presence of the white crane props also adds the artistic conception of an ancient fairy realm to the frame.

In terms of attempting different movements and perspectives, we switched between various angles such as low-angle, high-angle, and eye-level shots. For instance, holding that round fan painted with pink flowers while sitting serves to draw the camera's focus closer; or standing next to a flower branch pretending to pick a flower captures the interaction between body and props. In the shot sitting on the plush round cushion, tilting the body's center of gravity slightly backward allowed the leg lines and skirt hem to fall naturally, making full use of the ground reflection to enhance the spatial layers of the image. During the shoot, I am also very grateful for the photographer's guidance; after all, keeping the dress neat and posing well on a slippery mirrored prop requires some coordination. Overall, the goal is to use Chinese-style photography, with its unique light, shadow, and composition, to recreate the ethereal and agile temperament of this skin as much as possible.
