[Nefer cosplay] Genshin Impact Character Portrayal: Cool glamorous style Edge in the Dark Night

Shooting this Nefer set required meticulous attention to every prop and costume detail. The deep blue bodysuit paired with gold metallic framing visually delivers a striking Cool glamorous style, but wearing it was definitely challenging—especially the weight of the headpiece, which required constant balance to maintain a poised, head-high posture. The sharp claws on the gloves were also a standout touch; while posing, I had to take extra care not to scratch my arms, but once I got used to them, these sharp accessories actually helped me get into the character's icy, resolute state much faster.

For the location, we specifically chose an expansive, sci-fi-esque venue like a sports stadium with an array of green ceiling lights. Because the ambient light was very dim and dominated by cool tones, the photographer and I spent considerable time fine-tuning our positioning and reflector angles. Finding the composition for the seated pose in photo two took many attempts; to flatter the leg lines without making them look shortened, crossing legs on the round platform required engaging the core and tensing the thigh muscles. The lower half of this Equipment reproduction features a high-slit white skirt paired with leg garters; when the wind blew, the skirt flared up, allowing us to capture that dynamic, tension-filled moment.

Shooting on location that day took a heavy physical toll—the fabric was not breathable, and the metal accessories carried noticeable weight. Still, seeing the final results made all the effort feel well worth it. Standing poses required an upright, imposing presence, while seated poses needed a touch of distant aloofness. To stay faithful to the character's aura, we took hardly any breaks, constantly adjusting eye contact and facial expressions. The green ambient light striking the gold accessories created unique refractions, giving the metallic elements rich three-dimensional depth.

Reviewing the raw shots after the shoot, the shift in presence across different expressions was remarkable. The blend of cool allure and guarded tension achieved here perfectly aligned with my interpretation of Nefer. All the physical fatigue from the shoot melted away the moment I saw this uniquely styled photo set.
