[Zai Ji cosplay] Naraka: Bladepoint Star-Geared, attending a starry night daydream in white gauze

This time, I prepared the Zai Ji cosplay styling of the Star-Geared skin from Naraka: Bladepoint. To shoot this set well, I put a lot of thought into the clothing and props beforehand. The concept of the Star-Geared set itself carries a woven feel of Western fantasy and classical aesthetics, so I styled a fitted light golden updo for the hair, paired with elf ears cosplay props, steering the overall temperament towards a cool and somewhat ethereal direction.
There are many details in the costume; the main body is a white-to-pink gradient lace long dress. The backless cut combined with the lace-up design on the chest can outline the body shape very well. The skirt hem has a high slit, which naturally reveals the white stockings and garter rings inside when walking. On the upper body, I layered a body chain composed of numerous tiny pink and transparent beads, wrapping from the shoulders all the way to the back. Such intricate accessories can enhance the delicacy of the frame. The headwear is matched with a white lace-trimmed veil with a great drape; pulling the veil slightly during the shoot can create a wind-blown effect.
To match the atmosphere of this skin, the shooting location was chosen in an indoor studio featuring multiple crystal chandeliers. The warm yellow bulb halo is a natural atmosphere maker. During the shoot, I tried my best to face the light source, making the blue circle lenses look more translucent under the warm light. Photographer lemon风娅 is very good at capturing light and shadow. During the shoot, we used foreground blur and used the chandeliers as a bokeh background, instantly creating a strong sense of layering.
In terms of poses, I didn't design overly complex body language; it was mainly about using my hands to gently touch the pendants of the crystal chandelier or naturally arranging the veil. Utilizing the body chain and the translucent feel of the lace edges, lines are showcased in every gesture. The high-slit skirt hem paired with white tights cosplay brings a relatively noticeable visual impact when sitting or stepping forward. However, because it is a character with fantasy elements, while showing body figure advantages, I also intentionally maintained a cool look in my eyes to avoid making the frame look tacky.
The design highlight of the Star-Geared skin lies in combining heavy classical furniture with light gauze. Under the projection of the warm crystal chandeliers, the sequins and beads on the white gauze refract fine light, which, combined with a slightly upward-looking shooting angle, precisely echoes the visual effect of stars falling upon garments. The entire shooting process lasted for several hours. To present the most natural drape, I had to constantly adjust the positions of the skirt hem and chains. Seeing the final photos restore my inner imagination of the Star-Geared Zai Ji in this way makes all the trivial preparations completely worthwhile.
