[Eyjafjalla Cosplay] Arknights: Adorable Sheep with a Giant Golden Fork—Who Truly Understands the Value of This White Tights Cosplay?

Shooting Eyjafjalla from Arknights this time was a process that truly demanded immense patience. First was the preparation of the outfit: light brown curls with pink gradient tips, where every single strand was carefully brushed. To ensure that the oversized blue bow and sheep-ear accessories with pink-and-white patterns held their shape throughout the shoot, safety pins and glue were all put to use. The blue bow tie on my neck, featuring a yellow gem set in the center, sparkled crystal-clear in the lighting.

The biggest challenge was that giant golden fork—the prop was very heavy, and its length exceeded my own height. Lifting it with one hand while keeping arm lines graceful was quite a test of core strength. We experimented with various movements, such as gripping the fork shaft with both hands and squatting down to find balance against it, or capturing dynamic one-legged standing shots where my ankles stayed tense to avoid falling. There were also the woven rattan basket and burlap pouch; although they added practical realism, they easily swung around while running and jumping, requiring substantial effort to achieve a natural, effortless look.

In terms of the outfit, I absolutely love the dress design. The upper half is an off-the-shoulder white lace top adorned with floral embroidery and a blue ribbon tie on the chest, looking dainty and exquisite. The lower half is a layered blue puffy skirt decorated with red geometric diamond patterns. Paired with white tights cosplay elements and blue bow platform shoes, the overall aesthetic gives off a doll-like vibe while beautifully elongating the legs.

Sunlight was abundant on the shooting day, and the photographer used a wide-angle lens to capture plenty of dynamic frames. I also began figuring out how to convey the character's liveliness in front of the lens—such as the curve formed by the hair and skirt when twirling while holding the hem, or that proud expression when resting the giant fork on my shoulder. To capture the flying skirt moments, we repeatedly attempted jumps and spins; with the breeze and high-speed shutter, we achieved that ethereal lightness. The squatting pose nicely emphasized the head-to-body proportion and the fork prop, delivering an imposing yet adorable, slightly badass presence.

Regarding specific details, such as the red-and-blue diamond patterns on the blue skirt and the blue ribbons at the ankles, I meticulously adjusted them to match the original design as closely as possible. The sheen of the white tights under the sunlight was gorgeous, tracing the leg lines and making the silhouette appear even more slender alongside platform shoes. The eye makeup was deliberately given a rosy touch with long lashes to create that watery, innocent look of a small animal. The final convention photos turned out bright and fresh overall; I feel I delivered a solid portrayal of this character. In post-processing, the retoucher preserved the fabric textures and light-shadow structures, successfully capturing this dreamy and energetic vibe of anime cosplay.
