Today at the convention floor, I finally brought Tachibana Nozomi's full look to life. I woke up past 5:00 AM to start prepping, as the hair and makeup nuances were genuinely demanding this time. The wig was cut and styled beforehand; to give that bright green long straight wig a natural feathered texture, I wrestled with it until midnight using styling wax and setting spray to tame flyaway strands. The green halo prop atop my head was reinforced using acrylic sheet and thin wire so it wouldn't easily get knocked off in the crowded venue. The Elf ears were applied directly to the skin with cosmetic adhesive; though wearing them all day felt a bit stuffy, they looked fantastic on camera. This light blue ruffled dress actually has multiple layered tiers and took quite some effort to put on, finished with a blue ribbon bow tied at the collar. What I love most is the cream lace flower embellishment at the shoulder, which matches the overall aesthetic seamlessly. Today, I also draped a chunky cream knit shawl—originally meant for warmth, it turned out to add wonderful visual depth inside the venue. To complement the outfit, my nails were manicured with pink polish and rhinestones, ensuring details were pushed to the max. The Mechanical keyboard held in my hands was a key prop today. Featuring blue-and-white keycaps with RGB backlighting and adorned with adorable novelty designs, it perfectly echoes the aesthetic of Blue Archive. Many passersby asked about the keyboard model; in fact, I spent plenty of effort selecting the custom keycaps just to coordinate with this outfit. Because the keyboard carries some weight, my arms grew rather sore holding it across various poses throughout the day. Still, for the sake of accuracy, that bit of fatigue was nothing. I met many Blue Archive enthusiasts at the con, and everyone was incredibly warm. With a backdrop reading 'Caution: Train' and great venue lighting, the resulting Convention photos turned out even better than expected. During the shoot, the photographer suggested interactive gestures, such as shading my forehead with one hand or glancing down at the keyboard. Glancing down at the keyboard was actually meant to highlight its unique keycap graphics. Despite wearing shorts, darting around the lively halls kept me completely warm amidst the dazzling lights and vibrant crowd. As for makeup, the eye contours were deepened and paired with generous blush to evoke a 2D anime feel. The lip color was kept natural to keep the focus on the eyes. The contact lenses were a reddish-brown tone, which softened my gaze under camera flashes. Tonight will definitely call for an eye-soothing compress after taking off the makeup. Doing cosplay is always exhausting—standing from dawn until dusk leaves my soles aching—but seeing such gorgeous convention photos makes every ounce of effort worthwhile. The convention booth design was also thoughtfully arranged, with blue-and-yellow panels and green signage making photogenic backdrops. Many friends came over for selfies, and everyone was super polite. For those who couldn't attend in person, I hope these shots share a taste of the venue's vibrant energy. I've retouched these few frames for now, and more detail shots will follow soon. From textile selection to prop coordination, this entire styling was crafted to stay as true to character design as possible. I hope you all enjoy these Convention photos, and fellow fans are always welcome to exchange tips on shooting, hair, and makeup!
