The 7.18 Moeka Anime Convention D1 shoot of my custom White formal wear cosplay Robin cosplay wrapped up smoothly. The biggest surprise this time was the set of six-winged ear feathers prepared in advance: in the crowded venue, one accidental bump broke the accessory. Out of necessity, I had to make an emergency on-site fix, turning it into the two-winged version seen in the photos. Although losing the grand wings was a slight pity, the two-winged look actually felt closer to the light, ethereal aesthetic of this custom design.

For makeup, to match the cool and ethereal vibe, I chose highly pigmented green colored contacts paired with tiny rhinestones under the eyes and slightly heavier blush to counter the washed-out camera effect. Wearing this white lace tube top and double-layered pearl necklace wasn't as effortless as it looked—plus, the lace choker around my neck felt tight, so I barely dared to look down and eat during the day for fear of leaving red marks.

Meeting so many fellow fans who love this character at the Changsha Anime Convention was a wonderful experience. I was pulled in for photos by numerous photographers and collected many creative selfies together, especially with the DIY 'missing person notice' flyer I made, which was a lot of fun when handed to passersby. The atmosphere was incredible that day, with many friends helping take Convention photos. Although my back and waist ached after a full day, looking back at the photos made every bit of fatigue worthwhile.

I am currently sorting through the raw shots and working on high-end retouches, mainly aiming to preserve the delicate texture of the lace and the crystalline sparkle of the eyes while avoiding over-smoothing to faithfully capture the styling details. Outdoor weather in Changsha was quite hot this year, making staying inside the venue a bit tough, but immersing myself in the character and connecting face-to-face with everyone was truly fulfilling and joyful. I might cosplay this white formal wear custom design again in the future with more thorough preparation. Looking forward to meeting again at the next anime convention!
