[Daji cosplay] The bunny-eared little fox at the Changsha ACC Comic Convention - Image 1

This Daji styling for this Changsha ACC Comic Convention has an overall design leaning towards a sweet-cool and fantasy style. The wig is bright orange-yellow with a slight curl, and the white plush bunny ears on top of the head are pink on the inside, matched with that large blue bow featuring clock, heart, and poker card elements, giving it a very strong visual impact. The clothing chose a blue-and-black striped patchwork style, with a large area of white lace ruffles on the chest, dotted with ruby buttons. To increase details, the belt was specially made into poker card suit patterns, and the sleeves are puff sleeves tied with black bows. The overall makeup uses blue contact lenses to brighten the gaze, eyeliner and eyelashes both strengthen the eye contours, and blush and lip color chose orange tones to echo the hair color. Wearing this wig and costume at the convention site is actually quite hot, especially with this multi-layered lace and puff sleeve design, but for the sake of the final photo effect, these troubles can all be overcome. To prevent the wig from being squeezed crooked at the convention, I added a few extra bobby pins in the interlayer and repeatedly checked the fixation of the bunny ear headpiece before entering the venue.

When arriving at the venue in the morning, the crowd was already huge, and the atmosphere of Changsha ACC was exceptionally lively. Many photography masters and players were all around. I walked around various areas with this Daji styling and met quite a few friends who came over for photos. Because the character's setting carries obvious animal elements and gaming style, I always had to pay special attention to the position of the bunny ears while walking to avoid them being knocked off or bumping into others in crowded corridors. Occasionally I would stop to tidy up the skirt hem and props. During this shooting process, I tried my best to maintain the character's lively and naughty posture, striking various poses that could highlight the clothing details, such as making a V-sign or turning sideways to display the poker card decoration around the waist. Many people, after recognizing this as a character from King, would stop to take a few more glances, and fellow enthusiasts also came to exchange cosplay experiences. When facing the camera, I would slightly adjust the angle of the headpiece to make the blue bow and poker card elements look more three-dimensional. When encountering some shooting requests with more complex actions, I would also patiently cooperate, hoping to showcase the layering and details of the clothes from different angles.

From the preparation stage to completing the shoot on site, the entire process is actually turning a 2D design into a 3D physical entity. The wig styling needs to be trimmed and set in advance, and the details on the clothes like lace trims and gem buttons all need to be firmly fixed. On-site, the coordination of lighting and background also needs to be considered to ensure that every photo can clearly showcase the special features of this design. Although Changsha's weather made the physical consumption of wearing this outfit quite high, looking at the images recorded in the camera made me feel that the previous preparations were all worth it. As someone who frequently does cosplay, being able to showcase a favorite character at a grand comic convention and enjoy this atmosphere with everyone is a very meaningful thing. Today's convention experience was quite good, and I plan to rest well afterwards and organize the footage shot this time. After the convention ends, I will also spend some time screening and post-processing the photos, trying to restore the character's original colors and atmosphere, while also recording this fulfilling day spent at Changsha ACC.
