The preparation for this Kanna kindergarten uniform shoot took a long time, mainly aiming to restore that well-behaved yet slightly clueless daily feel. For clothing, a light blue short-sleeved doll-collar shirt was chosen, paired with a white pleated skirt. The details of the neckline and buttons are very fitting, giving off a strong campus vibe when worn. The wig features light long straight hair with a pink-purple gradient, trimmed with neat bangs in the front, and paired with those iconic white horns on top of the head. To increase character recognition, a black bow and black spherical hair ornaments at the back of the head were specially prepared. For props, a red hard-shell backpack, desk, and chairs were prepared, striving to restore a corner of the classroom in the studio.

During the shoot, Teacher Shigure guided many poses. Because it needed to fit the kindergarten atmosphere and avoid overly mature postures, most actions involved sitting at the desk, holding a pencil or a small plush object, or standing obediently with a backpack. Here are a few pose references that I find quite useful. When sitting on a chair, legs can be naturally brought together or slightly placed sideways, with toes slightly pigeon-toed; this nicely showcases the lines of the white stockings and visually makes the leg shape look more slender. Hand gestures can be placed next to the cheeks or gently touching the horns on the head, showing a curious state. When carrying the red double-shoulder backpack, both hands can tightly grip the backpack straps, leaning the body slightly forward, or doing a turning-back-to-glance action to let the lens capture the side profile of the long hair and backpack. When standing, touching the horns with one hand or reaching forward can increase the sense of interaction with the lens. In terms of gaze, matching this kindergarten outfit requires being as soft as possible, carrying a slight innocent feeling.

This time's makeup mainly focused on being clear and fair. Eye makeup used red blending to deepen the contours of the eye sockets, matched with bright blue contact lenses and red lip tint, resulting in a very high overall color contrast. White stockings and red-and-white Mary Jane shoes are one of the highlights of this styling, which not only strengthens the student feel but also well balances the color proportions of the frame during full-body composition. The desk, chairs, and red backpack serve as background props, enriching the elements of the frame.
