For this shoot, we organized three completely different styling looks, primarily to showcase Ninghai across diverse thematic settings. The first look is the nocturnal Moon Rabbit concept: the purple bodysuit features very distinctive tailoring, with the 'cool' chest plaque contrasting sharply against the texture of the fluffy plush shawl. For the lower half, I paired sheer black Stockings with purple high heels, keeping the overall chromatic tone unified. The shooting location was a courtyard styled with stone lanterns and ancient trees, right beneath a full moon in the night sky. The oversized wooden mallet prop was surprisingly heavy; to make the poses look graceful, I continually adjusted my grip angle and center of gravity—especially during single-leg balances, which required tight core stabilization. Managing night lighting was quite tricky, as facial fill lights needed to retain translucent clarity without washing out the ambient glow of the stone lanterns and the moon.
The second look is the idol stage costume. The layering is remarkably rich: a white and purple cropped top with detachable sleeves, a violet pleated miniskirt, paired with over-ear headphones and twin-tails, delivering a powerful performance presence. The white knee-high boots are accented with purple butterfly ornaments. To simulate an authentic concert atmosphere, I held a microphone on stage and explored interactive, expressive postures amidst the sound of fluttering confetti. For the outdoor stage sequence, we also prepared a panda plushie at my feet to make the frame livelier. Stage lighting behaves completely differently from natural daylight—under intense spotlights, we paid extra attention to soft facial shadow transitions to prevent blowout while keeping the gaze sharply focused.
The third look is a spring street snapshot. Here, the vibe shifted to a casual everyday ensemble: a white knit cardigan over a purple camisole, styled with denim shorts, over-the-knee black Stockings, and purple ankle booties. To harmonize with the cherry blossoms and temple stone staircases, I carried a purple oil-paper umbrella with a tiny chick charm dangling from the handle, along with a panda plush resting on my shoulder, giving the entire look an effortless, relaxed touch. The scenic tourist spot was quite crowded, so we had to patiently time our candid snaps whenever the steps cleared out. The weather was lovely, with sunlight casting organic cherry blossom leaf shadows across my clothes. The key to this set was keeping poses fluid rather than stiff, embracing an unscripted, slice-of-life naturalness. Crafting these three coordinates took extensive dedication to prop styling and wig maintenance, and I hope they bring everyone a wonderfully varied visual experience.
