[Cartethyia Cosplay] The Holy Maiden of Wuthering Waves: A Silhouette of Purity and Serenity

Before this shoot, I repeatedly brainstormed the setting of Cartethyia, and the overall makeup and styling revolved around a cool, ethereal style. The wig went through multiple rounds of trimming, with the curves on both sides of the sideburns contouring the face, and blue feathers and hanging ornaments dotted between the hair strands. For the makeup, the eyeshadow colors were toned down, and the base makeup emphasized a matte, clear texture. Combined with light-colored contact lenses and detailed eye makeup to add depth, the gaze aligns better with the character's temperament. The costume features a layered structure; the inner black high-collar piece sharpens the neckline, while the outer layered white sleeveless cardigan utilizes textured fabric, allowing the hem to drape naturally when walking or raising my arms. The accessories chosen are golden chains and pendants, making the overall look very delicate, and I was extremely careful to avoid damaging the props during the shoot.

The scene chosen features white domed architecture, with a white plush rug spread across the floor and simulated white-and-green floral arrangements placed around, making the entire atmosphere pure and soft. In terms of lighting, diffuse reflection was utilized to create a high-key frame, and the wooden arched window frames in the background added a sense of spatial depth. As for poses, standing positions were completely abandoned, and sitting poses were used throughout the shoot to cultivate a relaxed feel. I was guided on-site to perform actions like turning sideways to raise an arm and slightly lifting one hand, emphasizing the interaction between the hand lines and the clothing material. The woven decorative bands around the ankles and bare-foot shots were also recorded as key highlights.

Generally speaking, this Cartethyia Game character cosplay attempt was not only a challenge in character building but also a test of grasping light and shadow. The details of the costume reveal textures under specific angles of reflection, so the shooting timing required close coordination with the photographer's metering. The final finished photos preserve the holy, cold demeanor of the Anime girl while presenting the soft atmosphere of the shooting site for this beautiful Cosplay photography collection.
