[Wishadel cosplay] Live Record of the Kazdel Speaker Delivering an Important Speech

I am quite satisfied with the overall atmosphere and accuracy of this Wishadel cosplay shot live at Huazi this time. As a character in Arknights that I've always wanted to try, from the strongly designed red, white, and blue color-blocked jacket to the flowing layered white wig and the iconic red horns on both sides of the head, refining every detail of the makeup and styling is exactly where the fun of cosplay lies.

When deciding to do this character, I specifically considered her unique temperament that is both calm and slightly cynical. Therefore, for the makeup, I deliberately emphasized the contours and lines of the eyes, trying to convey the character's composed yet sharp gaze. This outfit has many layers; although the combination of black, white, red, and blue is eye-catching, it really took a lot of effort to repeatedly check the position of the accessories and the volume of the wig before heading out. Fortunately, after putting on this outfit and standing at the podium, paired with the Dell monitor, the black microphone stand, and a handheld mic, I instantly got into character.

The lighting and stage atmosphere at the venue yesterday were surprisingly good. Although the event space was semi-dark, the spotlight hit the podium perfectly, simulating a very serious meeting scene. When I held the microphone, I even truly felt like that Kazdel Speaker, getting ready to deliver some important speech to the audience. The advantage of this look is that even with a head-down pose, combined with the silhouette of the wig and horns, the frame can look incredibly narrative.

Special thanks to photographer Kyuuchi for this Anime-style photography session. His candid shots and lighting control are exceptionally professional. I remember when I was adjusting the microphone at the podium or turning sideways to speak, our coordination was extremely in sync. Even the set of photos where I tilted my head slightly with larger hand gestures were vivid moments he quickly captured, fully recreating the character's commanding presence over the entire room.

Actually, having the opportunity to do this "pre" (pre-shoot) session before attending the official event was an especially valuable experience for me. Not only did it help me quickly familiarize myself with the character's costume details and dynamic poses, but it also allows me to be more confident in future shoots and displays. The atmosphere on set was truly fantastic. Although it was a trial run and inevitably had various minor hiccups—like constantly having to fix a few stray hairs of the wig by my ear, or repeatedly adjusting the microphone height to match my posture—these are actually very real and vivid experiences of Coser daily life.

What attracts me most about Wishadel is her seemingly complex yet very pure personality. Standing under the stage spotlight, accompanied by the microphone and computer screen, I felt like I truly stepped into her perspective for a fleeting moment. In this kind of environment, the texture of the costume, the accuracy of the props, and even the unintentional revelation of expressions are much more natural and full of life than simply sitting in a studio for a shoot.

Overall, this pre-shoot at Huazi was a highly enjoyable endeavor. Whether it's the accuracy of the costume or the communicative atmosphere on set, it fills me with anticipation for the upcoming official events and taking more Convention photos. I'm very happy to bring a favorite character from imagination into reality, and I hope every photo session leaves behind moments worth reminiscing about.
