[Nahida Cosplay] Genshin Impact Forest Promise: Mint Green and Pure White Early Spring Snapshots

Early preparation for this shoot focused on unifying colors and character temperament. Since the character design embodies nature and purity, everything from wig material selection to light makeup was carefully tested and refined. Instead of plain pure white, the wig features a gradient highlight of silver and mint green, which casts a delicate matte sheen under studio lights. Natural fluffiness was intentionally kept in the curls, which, combined with styled bangs and side locks, beautifully frames the face during half-body close-ups to evoke a casual yet dynamic feel. Meanwhile, wearing custom Elf ears prosthetics instantly elevated the overall dimension and character recognition.

For makeup, the base was kept immaculate, hydrated, and clear, with focus on softening facial contours. The eye makeup avoided overly heavy tones, utilizing soft pinks and subtle shimmer bases across the lids alongside under-eye highlights to accentuate facial expressions. Light-colored contacts enhanced gaze focus, keeping the overall expression natural, innocent, and approachable. Lip color featured a natural nude-pink, echoing the white and green outfit palette nicely to avoid any jarring, heavy-makeup feel.

Costume craftsmanship and details were the highlights of this shoot. The palette blends pure white and olive green, creating an extremely refreshing visual. The neckline ornament on the chest is rich in texture: a golden collar holds olive green satin, with a teardrop-shaped emerald pendant embedded in the center as a focal point. Soft chiffon short puff sleeves at the cuffs feature small green ribbon edgings, accentuating slender arm lines. The skirt design is rich in layers: the outer pure white pinafore features delicate gold-embroidered vine patterns, while the inner olive green layer is trimmed with white lace, adding intricate craftsmanship so the simple palette never feels dull. Abundant white ruffled lace on the headpiece, adorned with green and gold elements, adds playful cuteness to the ensemble.

For the venue, we chose a clean, light-mint seamless backdrop without complex props. This minimalist setup minimized environmental color interference, allowing full focus on character expressiveness and costume tailoring. Anime-style photography used key soft light in front combined with rim light from the side; the front light rendered skin tones translucent and natural, while the rim light neatly contoured edges, especially illuminating hair strands to give the gradient wig a soft, breathing texture.

During the actual shoot, we experimented with several poses. Half-body shots focused on capturing eye expression changes, such as peace signs or single-hand salutes, emphasizing her obedient yet lively nature. Full-body shots highlighted skirt layering, paired with over-the-knee white socks and black Mary Jane shoes. Framing took negative space into account to keep composition balanced and uncrowded. The final result owes much to meticulous makeup and costume preparation, as well as the photographer's sharp capture of light behind the lens, perfectly preserving the character's innate innocence and freshness.
