This set of black and white pair of rabbits convention photography is finally sorted out, and partnering with my senior really gives an amazing result.

This time we shot the black and white pair of rabbits style, choosing this bunny girl outfit that features Gothic and Lolita elements. My outfit is the white-base with black-trim style. The upper body features a translucent white lace patchwork, decorated with a black bow and cross-lacing at the neckline. The sleeves are designed as loose, transparent sheer long sleeves, with black lace trimmings sewn at the cuffs and arms, preventing it from looking too monotonous and instead giving it a fluffy lightness. The lower body is paired with black pantyhose and white lace leg rings, and the white high heels on my feet echo the overall white keynote, while the black stockings add visual layering.

My senior wore the black-base with white-trim version, going for another style—a glossy black one-piece bodysuit featuring black mesh patchwork at the chest and a white bow tie, with long white ribbons flowing down gracefully. She paired it with white pantyhose and black leg rings, stepping into a pair of glossy black high heels. Both of our hair colors are light blonde, paired with neat straight bangs and various lace-ruffled bunny ear headpieces. Although the color schemes are opposite, a strong sense of bonding is generated due to the echoes in the wigs, makeup, and costumes.

To match the style of this black and white pair of rabbits, we also made detailed distinctions in our makeup. Although both have straight bangs and light blonde hair, my senior and I intentionally chose different colored contact lenses. I have red-toned eyes, while my senior has a translucent light purple-pink tone, making the color collision in our gaze more dramatic during close-up eye contact. The eye makeup deepens the contours, which, paired with the cool-toned colors, adds a bit of cool edge to the sweet style.

The venue this time was inside an indoor convention hall. The overhead lighting in the exhibition hall was quite sufficient, and this flat-level lighting is perfect for bringing out the transparency of the skin. Although there were convention visitors coming and going inside the venue, the photographer was excellent at finding angles, using a telephoto lens to blur out the cluttered crowd and shooting equipment in the background to make us stand out. You can also see some black softboxes and reflectors in the background; in fact, convention photography is often like this—you need to vie for positions with passersby and other photographers' equipment, so producing good photos is truly not easy.

Regarding pose guidance, we attempted several different states this time. There were close-up shots of the two of us leaning close together and tilting slightly toward the lens, which concentrates the visual focus on the facial makeup and the bunny ears on our heads, while also clearly displaying the fabric details of the neckline and shoulders. There were also angles interacting with the lens by reaching out, creating a sense of connection that breaks through the screen. Additionally, we shot standing poses with one leg raised; this posture elegantly showcases the lines of the legs and the pairing of high heels and stockings, preventing the stance from looking rigid. In truth, for a pose like raising a leg as shown in the picture, maintaining balance on smooth floor tiles while wearing high heels of about ten centimeters requires some core strength. The two of us had to hold onto each other to prevent slipping while doing this movement. Although the resulting photos look effortless, it heavily tests our unspoken understanding behind the scenes.

The decorations on this costume are extremely intricate. Just the layers of lace, lacing, various trimmings, along with the large bunny ear headpieces and fluffy pom-poms on the head, took a long time to put on. The wig, in particular, was long and smooth, making it very easy to tangle, so I had to be careful not to get caught on others' equipment while walking around the hall. To smoothly finish this set of photos, special thanks go to my senior's patient cooperation. To achieve harmony between the black and white colors in the same frame, the standing positions and postures between the two required continuous fine-tuning. The two of us kept laughing while shooting, but the final output certainly made all the trouble worthwhile.

Since it was live convention photography, the environment itself had clutter and reflections, but the post-production cleanly handled the light, and the reflection on the floor perfectly elongated the heels and legs. Overall, this was a highly joyful shoot. The photos from this black and white bunny girl outfit possess both the lively atmosphere of the convention venue and a refined sense of styling, reaching my expected results.
