For this Janus - Oath Skin photoshoot, I am very satisfied with the overall effect from the early costume preparation to the final photos. The idea behind shooting this set was very simple: I just wanted to capture that sacred yet gentle state of the character wearing a wedding dress. Since Janus has a very recognizable light blue long hair in her design, I set the color tone of the entire scene to blue and white right from the beginning. The background was decorated with a large amount of white gauze drapes and light blue gauze, matched with white decorative panels featuring hollow-out patterns and Roman columns, trying to create an ethereal, tranquil indoor spatial feel.

In terms of clothing, this pure white oath has many exquisite details. The off-shoulder design and the ruffles at the neckline well highlight the shoulder and neck lines, and the white flower neck ornament on my neck was specially chosen by me, echoing the flower hair ornament on my head. To fit the character, I wore white stockings, and for shoes, I chose white high heels, but the soles are red, which creates a strong sense of contrast when inadvertently revealed. The wig is light blue straight hair that reaches past the knees, with neatly trimmed bangs, coupled with light-colored contact lenses and pink-toned blush. In terms of makeup, I hoped to present a softer, even slightly fragile effect. To maintain the drape of the wig, I kept brushing it during shooting breaks to prevent tangles from affecting the overall fluency of the frame.

Regarding props, I prepared a bouquet of blue and white roses. Blue roses and white roses intertwined, combined with green leaves and ribbons, not only enriched the colors of the frame but also became a great visual focal point. During the shoot, the photographer @Levels gave a lot of suggestions on composition and lighting. Because blue and white color tones easily lose details under strong light and turn into pure color blocks, he adjusted the lighting angles multiple times, using soft light to preserve the textures of the wig and the gauze skirt hem as much as possible. The golden picture frame prop in the background also played a finishing touch role, breaking the monotony of the cool tones, and using the frame to enclose the figure also made the frame more layered and storytelling.

In terms of posing, this time I tried different postures such as sitting and lying down. When sitting on the sofa covered with white cloth and blue gauze, I paid special attention to the extension of the leg lines. Whether crossing my legs or hanging them down naturally, the state of the white stockings and high heels had to be displayed just right. When lying sideways, the center of gravity is placed on the arms, with the other hand holding the bouquet or resting naturally on the skirt hem, presenting a slight S-shaped curve of the body, which looks more relaxed and natural in the lens. In order to capture the emotion in the eyes, I also slightly adjusted the orientation of my face so that the light could fall evenly on the face and eyes, and cooperated with a slight upward angle and head tilt to enrich the perspective.

The entire shooting process was actually quite tiring, especially maintaining those lying postures that required constant tension, while always paying attention to the pleats of the skirt hem and the direction of the gauze drapes so they wouldn't look messy. But seeing the effects presented on the camera screen made all these hardships feel completely worthwhile. Personally, I really like the visual presentation of this Janus - Oath Skin; it completely showcases the costume details and the overall atmosphere.
