For this Formidable bunny girl shoot, we put a lot of thought into presenting the textures of the costume and props. The white bodysuit was specially chosen with a slightly glossy fabric, combined with black lace trimming, which presents great three-dimensionality under the lighting and avoids looking mediocre. The large black bow and ruby accessory on the chest are the visual center, and the button details were also matched strictly according to the design. The plush bunny ears on top of the head actually have a framework inside; I kept adjusting their angle, hoping to present a look that is naturally upright yet slightly playful.

To match this styling, we prepared two distinctly different scenes. The first is a dimly lit retro bar. The dark wooden bar counter combined with the warm LED strips of the background liquor cabinet instantly brought out the overall atmosphere. In this scene, I utilized the decanter, wine glass, and a small pink cake on the bar as interactive props, preventing hand movements from appearing awkward, while pulling on the black ribbon also added dynamism and tension to the frame.

The second scene is a rather classical study. The deep red leather sofa formed a sharp color contrast with the wooden bookshelves and retro books packed behind it. I paired this setup with a chessboard and a thick old book, and even arranged a large cluster of red floral art nearby. The long twin-tails spread out in this scene, colliding with the texture of the leather sofa to create an extremely rich visual effect.

As the core of this styling, the display of Black stockings was also a focus. When shooting standing and sitting poses, I would slightly tense my insteps or adjust the angle of crossed legs to flatter leg lines and make the glossiness of the Black stockings look even better. Paired with those red-bottomed pointy high heels, the extension sense of the legs became even stronger. Because the twin-tails are extremely long and easily get messy when posing, I would use my hands to tug at the hair ends or that long black ribbon, making the wig look more natural and breathable.

Actually, when shooting a character with many lace trims and long plush accessories, on-site organizing work is extremely important. The costume's black lace edges easily fold over during movement and require constant attention for adjustment. The wig is the same; a small comb and styling spray must be carried along. Although it's an exaggerated 2D anime styling, before the lens, we must naturally reveal that languid and exquisite temperament through micro-expressions and body language. For this set of finished photos, I feel it successfully preserved the character's demeanor and costume details, and the retro lighting and shadows added a lot of bonus points.
