I finally found some time to sort out the photos from this Laffey cosplay Bunny girl cosplay look shot in a real-scene studio back in March. The cherry blossom backdrop and semi-sheer white gauze in the studio back then directly maximized the atmosphere. There are actually a lot of details in this look; with the modified cheongsam cut combined with bunny ears and hair buns, I feel it beautifully restores the character's laziness and playfulness. The high slit and cut-out design of this costume heavily test one's figure, but the sense of lightness after putting it on is actually very comfortable. The long gloves and white long socks on the legs make the overall visual presentation look exceptionally clean. I really like the composition of the first standing pose, with the circular doorway and white gauze serving as a frame, locking the entire person inside—possessing both traditional Eastern charm and a touch of 2D moe characteristics. The second photo holding the fish captures an interaction during a shooting break; the photographer said this carries a more lifestyle-oriented breath of life. The braised fish prop was also found temporarily on-site, and combined with that winking gesture, it feels like it portrays Laffey's slightly tipsy yet spontaneous state. Light in a real-scene studio is truly important; the soft sidelight brought out both the golden thread patterns on the clothes and the transparency of the gauze skirt. Every time I wear this kind of clothing with a train or long streamers, I worry about tripping while posing, but this time I managed it quite well. The weather in March was still a bit chilly, but the temperature inside the studio was just right, so I didn't feel very tired after shooting the entire day. The character itself has a gap moe of being both lazy and cute, so in terms of expression management, I tried my best to keep it relaxed and natural without intentionally forcing any poses. Photography isn't just about staged shoots; sometimes candid snapshots or interacting with props can better convey the character's temperament. I hope the light, shadow, and texture of this set allow everyone to feel Laffey's unique charm in Azur Lane. This wraps up my entry for this piece of Anime-style photography and a peek into my Studio photoshoot daily life.
