Putting on this orange and white battle attire, wearing the iconic fox ears and headwear, and raising the folding fan in my hand, I felt as if I had become that Little Fox Fairy traveling through the virtual world. Shooting this Yingning cosplay from Goddess of Victory, the most enjoyable part was capturing that state of hers that sits right between playful and agile in front of the lens. To restore the essence of the character, I put a lot of thought into the costume details, especially the texture of those interwoven black straps and accessories. Paired with that transparent PVC outerwear, it created a wonderful visual clash between traditional and modern elements. Coordinating with the meticulously built antique Chinese scene in the studio, the full moon in the background, scattered flower branches, and that red oil-paper umbrella all gave the final photos a deep sense of narrative. During the shooting process, I tried various postures such as sitting, crossing legs, lying down, and leaning, wanting to convey Yingning's casual and free character traits from different angles. This set of photos is not only a tribute to the original character but also a very exhilarating anime creation experience. I hope to deliver this unique sense of atmosphere to you exactly as it is.
