[Label cosplay] Even a Librarian Has This Side: Goddess of Victory: Nikke Languid At-home portrait

From planning to producing this Librarian cosplay of Label, building the set was what took the most effort. Since the character's background is a librarian, the texture and quality of the props were extremely crucial. I gathered many hardcover books of varying sizes and thicknesses, including several VOGUE magazines, carefully matching and stacking them by cover color and height. The studio lighting was customized for the portraiture; the solid gray background preserved the shadow details of the black top to the fullest extent while allowing the purple hair highlights to cast cool-toned reflections under the studio lights. The gray bunny plushie and brown leather bag were introduced to neutralize the heaviness of the large black areas and add everyday warmth to the scene.

In terms of styling, long wavy hair was paired with purple highlights on the forehead, and the cowlick on top took multiple styling attempts before finally standing upright properly. Pairing round-frame glasses with red lips naturally created an intellectual yet subtly rebellious cool vibe. For clothing, I chose an off-the-shoulder black top paired with a deep purple hem, and black shoes trimmed with white fur on my feet—the combination of these elements perfectly captured Label's relaxed, at-home languor.

During shooting, the pose in Photo 1 was the most challenging to dial in. To fully showcase the leg lines and collarbone/neck contours, the photographer adjusted the camera setup multiple times. I continually shifted my center of gravity, striving to pierce the lens with my gaze to convey her somewhat aloof and intensely focused demeanor. The scenario in Photo 3 recreated the librarian's daily routine: looking down while reading required a natural relaxation of the neck and shoulders, and the angle of holding the book had to be precise. Holding such thick and heavy hardcover books really tested wrist stamina, and keeping my head lowered for a while made my neck sore, which could only be relieved by stretching between takes.

For post-processing, we mainly adjusted the translucency of the skin texture and the light and shadow lines of the Long legs, ensuring the visual texture remained realistic while aligning with the character's aesthetic setting. We spent nearly two weeks preparing props for this set of photos; while the process was demanding, the whole portrayal felt very fresh. Bringing this intellectual, sensual, and slightly aloof librarian image to life made the overall shoot immensely enjoyable, while thoroughly testing posing and emotional control. In terms of character presentation, I paid special attention to the position of the large round frames so they wouldn't obstruct the light.
