[Cheshire Cat Cosplay] Azur Lane Bride: Today I'm Marrying You!

This bridal styling for Cheshire Cat from Azur Lane required a lot of thoughtful preparation from initial planning to the final shoot. The crown and white floral headpiece paired with gradient blue-gray short hair aimed to recreate the character's light, opulent presence. I deliberately chose a short bridal gown crafted from semi-sheer lace and voluminous chiffon; when the train draped across the staircase steps, it established an undeniable visual presence. During the shoot, finding the most natural seated pose meant repeatedly adjusting my leg angles on the stairs—since the high heels featured pearl-chain ankle straps, delicate balance was necessary while walking or sitting to prevent slipping. The cool-toned studio lighting, combined with white and light-blue hydrangea props, gave the entire scene a pure, dreamy translucence. Closing my eyes with a playful hand gesture happened partly because the studio was somewhat warm, yet that lively gesture prevented the bridal look from feeling overly rigid, injecting Cheshire Cat's signature agile charm into this Anime cosplay. During post-processing, authentic skin texture was meticulously preserved. We tested several fill-light setups to ensure the sheer tulle on the chest yielded a soft, luminous reflection without overexposing. Though the photoshoot was exhausting, seeing that unique romantic aura of Azur Lane come alive in the final frames made every effort worthwhile.
