[Remielle cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero's pink-haired elf—this white-winged look is packed with visual tension!

This time, I cosplayed Remielle from Zenless Zone Zero. What stands out most visually in this styling is the color clash and layered accessories. The pink bob cut, paired with star-shaped hairpieces on both sides and pointed elf ears, instantly set a fantasy vintage tone. To match this setup, I intensified the reddish-pink tones in the eye makeup and wore vibrant colored contacts, aiming to convey a cool, detached expression in front of the camera.

The costume was far more intricate than expected. The top is predominantly white with light blue and pink patchwork fabrics, accented on the chest with a metallic cross, star pendants, and a blue bow. The most time-consuming part was the enormous flared bell sleeves; layered with sheer tulle and pleated fabric, they required constant adjusting to hold that exaggerated, sculptural silhouette. For the lower half, I wore white thigh-high stockings with garter straps and silver pointed-toe heels—the metallic sheen of the shoes reflected beautifully under cool lighting, visually elongating my leg lines. The white feathered wings on my back were another major undertaking; the feather edges were styled with irregular sharpness, requiring careful angle adjustments to ensure they looked fluffy without appearing visually bulky.

To align with the overall atmosphere, we chose a dark wooden table covered with a crimson velvet cloth. Props included a white wrought-iron birdcage, delicate gold-rimmed teacups, and a silver tray, set against a backdrop of deep navy velvet drapes and European-style paneled walls. Lighting was crucial during the shoot: cool blue tones dominated the ambient light, while warm fill light was deliberately applied to the face and body. This high-contrast mix of cool and warm light pulled the white attire and wings right out from the dark background, dramatically enhancing the subject's dimensional depth.

In terms of posing, because of the constraints of the table and the wings, many movements had to be fine-tuned. Crossing my legs while sitting on the edge of the table showcased the profile lines of the stockings and heels nicely, while sitting with knees hugged or one leg bent utilized the folds of the skirt and exposed garter bands to add rich layers to the frame. When facing the camera, beyond standard standing poses, using fingertip placements and gaze directions helped guide the viewer's eye—such as resting a hand gently on a knee or near my cheek—balancing the composition along the wings' outward spread.

Shooting this set was physically demanding; managing the weight of the wings and maintaining the complex costume took a lot of stamina. But seeing the final results—capturing such gorgeous, mysterious lighting and every crisp detail of the outfit—made it deeply rewarding.
