Taking advantage of the early summer breeze and warm sunshine, this outdoor photo set of Tanga Ibuki is finally out. Having attended a recent anime convention, I scheduled a small-scale outdoor shoot with the photographer just outside the venue. Despite braving high temperatures and strong UV rays, seeing the final pictures made everything feel entirely worth it.

The outfit details for this Anime cosplay are remarkably rich. For hair, I chose a bright golden-yellow wig styled with straight-cut bangs and twintails, with black bow hair ties on both sides adding plenty of playful charm. The black military-style cap on my head, paired with a gold emblem and a pink bow on the front, instantly concentrates visual focus on the head. As for attire, the base inner layer is a white shirt with a skinny red tie, while the dark pleated skirt and wide-cuffed jacket in a black-and-red color scheme deliver a strong uniform feel. The color contrast is strikingly vivid; especially set against outdoor greenery, the dominant black tone anchors the visual composition beautifully.

A major highlight of this outfit is the brown plush bear bag, which instantly highlights the character's slightly childish and lively traits once worn. Additionally, the prop gun placed on the table—styled in grey and black with red and white accents—served as a fantastic supporting piece during shooting, allowing more creative freedom in pose design.

During the shoot, we experimented with several different poses. Positions like sitting by the table with a slight turn or standing while holding the hat brim with one hand evoked a more reserved and tranquil feel. Personally, I particularly love the last pose with one foot resting on a chair: paired with those eye-catching bright yellow mid-calf boots, lifting my leg elongated my silhouette and showcased the lines beneath the skirt, bringing a crisp and lively energy to the overall image. Outdoor lighting was extremely abundant, with the afternoon backlighting and side-backlighting capturing hair strand textures with crisp clarity.

The experience at this convention was fantastic as well—meeting many fellow fans and passersby on-site who gave very enthusiastic feedback on this costume. Although adjusting clothing and props outdoors was a bit tedious, the photographer's professionalism in Convention photography and comfortable snapshot pacing helped us get into character quickly. Before shooting this set, I was worried that harsh outdoor sunlight might wash out skin tones and makeup, but thanks to the photographer's skillful mastery over light and shadow, the final photos achieved just the right mood.

Many passersby also asked if this uniform was difficult to wear; although the jacket looks heavy, the fabric is actually breathable, and the swaying of wide cuffs as I walked naturally added dynamic grace to the movement. From morning makeup prep to finishing the shoot, the entire journey was not just a photoshoot experience, but a heartfelt resonance with the character. I believe this is precisely the unique joy of engaging in Outdoor cosplay during a convention.
