This shoot at the photography studio featured Remilia from Touhou Project. The entire set was arranged with cool, deep-blue ambient lighting paired with warm spotlights focused on the subject, creating a striking Dark fairy tale style and dark gothic ambiance. The pink Gothic Lolita dress is rich in detail, with ample ruffles and red ribbons along the collar and hemline, complemented by small black demon wings on the back, white stockings, and red patent leather Mary Janes. This innocent pink palette contrasted sharply with the darker Vampire costume elements. The biggest challenge was conveying the right emotion through my gaze—since she is canonically a vampire, she needed to radiate an indolent, tsundere, yet subtly dangerous mystique. Photographer Sanmiao did an exceptional job lighting the vintage leather sofa area, which allowed me to find flattering side angles and crossed-leg poses that elongated my leg lines. While shooting with the red apple prop, I held it delicately near my lips or cradled it in one hand to evoke an aura that appeared harmless yet tempting. Switching to the red scythe and skull, I cooled my expression to match the crimson spear tip, highlighting her noble air. The final shots sipping black tea served as the crowning touch, reminiscent of a midnight tea party. The makeup required high precision; to match the character, the foundation was applied very pale, with bold red accents around the eyes and lips that popped strikingly against the cool ambient tones. It was a thoroughly satisfying shoot that captured the desired composition and subtle intimidation while beautifully preserving the costume textures and elegant leg lines. Because of the numerous props and restricted movement, repeatedly adjusting the cape and skirt hemline to keep the frame balanced made this a true test of stamina and focus.
