Today, I finally got the whole set together, and the workmanship and texture of this outfit are truly eye-opening. Although my personal taste usually leans a bit towards the bizarre and I have a high acceptance of different foods, when it comes to clothing selection, I still hope it can strictly adhere to the character's primary setting. Upon seeing the actual item, my hanging heart finally settled down—the cut and silhouette of this costume are indeed highly fitting to the character's primary design traits, giving off a cute and reassuring feeling once worn.
The entire Daily outfit is mainly centered around an off-white loose top, with breathable ruffles processed at the cuffs, giving the sleeves a very natural drape during hand movements, and the material is very soft. The collar features a wide white sailor collar design with exquisite black lace trim around the edges, making the visual layers incredibly rich. A deep red bow tie is paired right in the center as a color-blocking enrichment, beautifully neutralizing the overall brightness. What surprised me the most were the small pendants decorating both sides of the neckline; though compact, their workmanship is delicate. These tiny details completely elevate the completion and exquisite feel of the whole outfit, reflecting the maker's care.
For the bottom, I chose dark blue pumpkin shorts with a ring of white lace trimming at the leg openings, paired below with white over-knee lace socks and black chunky-soled loafers. This combination not only looks lively and playful visually, but also beautifully modifies the outfit silhouette. The black leather belt at the waist with metal buckles and rivets, plus the black leather thigh ring on the right thigh, creates a cute contrast between the tough accessories and soft fabrics, offering intense practicality while increasing a tactical feel to the Daily outfit. The dark red material of the cape has an excellent texture; casually draping it over the arm can instantly carry the overall aura, and the black lace on the edges also prevents the cape's color from looking too monotonous.
Actually putting on this outfit and looking in the mirror, my state instantly immersed into the character. Playing games at home with this styling feels like a wall-breaking experience across dimensions. Speaking of which, I've been grinding Touhou Mystia's Izakaya lately because I really want to max out the bond with this little bug quickly. Normally, I even look for all sorts of strange foods when eating just to satisfy my curiosity. The most ridiculous part is that I actually played for over 50 hours before discovering that the game has an "auto-collect" feature! In the past, I used to manually click materials branch by branch, cluster by cluster, almost wrecking my mouse. When I discovered that switch, I was completely stunned. I think Dichromatic Butterfly really needs to make the prompt bigger, otherwise players who just bury their heads in hardcore grinding like this can easily miss such a critical feature. But with auto-collect on, things became much easier, and collection efficiency skyrocketed.
And once auto-collect is turned on, I have more time to slowly admire this new outfit. So now, it's basically leaving the game on auto-collect while running in the background, then casually tidying up the wig and snapping a few try-on commemorative photos with my phone. Although this costume was just received, its adaptability is extremely high, holding up well whether shooting full-body or close-up close-ups. The green-toned wig paired with matching accessories, combined with the rounded bangs and antenna hair ornaments, offers a highly accurate visual effect.
For playing this character, apart from accuracy, the wearing experience is actually also very important. Many cosplay costumes often sacrifice some comfort to pursue a good-looking design, but this set allows relatively free movement while ensuring a sense of design. Whether pulling up the cape, lifting a hand to flip hair, or adjusting the thigh ring, the range of motion is not restricted. Wearing it while sitting in front of the computer playing games doesn't feel out of place at all. Today is mainly about sharing the joy of receiving new clothes and the true experience of trying them on, coupled with discovering a small, New-World-like feature in the game.
