Let's dive into the experience of presenting this Christmas Rem look (Rem cosplay) at the Guangzhou Ring Universe Anime & Game Carnival. The feedback on this outfit at the convention was wonderful; the red-and-white dress paired with white angel wings on the back delivered great visual impact. The wig is a light blue short bob with gradient tips, accessorized with red ribbons and golden hairpieces. Wearing a light blue contact lens in the right eye, the base makeup was kept light, focusing primarily on eye contouring. The dress combines red velvet and stiff tulle with multi-layered pleats, adorned with a green bow and golden stars at the waist. Lifting the hem reveals White stockings and a red thigh ring, matching the wine-red chunky-heeled Mary Janes with great reflective sheen.

Because the convention hall was quite crowded that day, the photographer found a yellow wheeled cart in a quiet corner to serve as a prop for clean lighting and background. The camera angle was set low to better elongate leg proportions. We experimented with various poses, such as sitting sideways on the yellow cart, standing on one leg with the other lifted to show the fluttering skirt, and a hands-clasped close-up in front of the chest. The accessories were somewhat intricate—especially the white lace gloves and wings—feeling a bit cumbersome after extended wear, and slight movements easily loosened the ribbons. Still, we captured natural expressions amidst the hectic schedule. With heavy overhead lighting on site, the photographer used a reflector for facial fill light to balance skin tones. The visual highlight lies in the contrast between the White stockings and the red skirt, producing striking Convention photos in such a spacious hall and brimming with festive holiday cheer.
