This photoshoot at the CICF booth blended sci-fi tech vibes with sweet aesthetics. The light-pink hooded jacket is lightweight and silky, catching studio strobes with a gentle sheen that establishes an appealing warm-cool contrast against the fuzzy white inner top. The lower half features lace shorts paired with White stockings (White stockings), which boldly pop against the dark leather sofa to draw visual focus squarely toward leg contours. The white animal-ear cap and black-rimmed glasses inject authentic ACG otaku charm into the overall look, which, together with the cropped white hair, feels wonderfully playful. For the wig, I trimmed the fringe to rest delicately along the glasses frame, flattering face contours while appearing effortless before the camera.
The booth set design was genuinely thoughtful: black chain-link fencing, blue neon strip tubes, and chunky black plastic chains formed a hardcore cyberpunk atmosphere that contrasted sharply with my sweet, fluffy attire. For shooting, I held a rectangular graphics card box printed with a blue-haired virtual avatar as an interactive prop; this not only honored the booth theme, but kept hand posing dynamic. When gripping props, finger tension must be disciplined—avoiding a stiff squeeze in favor of a relaxed, gentle hold to keep hand lines slender and graceful. In the first shot, I leaned forward, reaching directly toward the lens—a dynamic angle that adds punchy depth, provided the chin remains tucked to maintain crisp jawlines. In the second, seated in profile with fingertips grazing my chin under the ambient booth lighting, my gaze softened into a relaxed, moody calm, keeping shoulders depressed to relax the trapezius. In the third, reclining across the sofa back with crossed legs, the sheen of the leather sofa accentuated the delicate texture of the White stockings (White stockings), pointing my toes to elongate the visual line of the legs.
Ambient light across the convention hall was intricate, yet balanced front fill lighting rendered skin tones crystalline and translucent. White lettering on the leather couch, assorted signage behind, and storage crates on the floor provided ample compositional depth. Shooting cosplay at a convention booth tests your ability to scout clean angles swiftly amid tight quarters and chaotic lighting. Though the styling looks soft and cozy, the black-rimmed glasses and moody backdrop cultivate a cool, edgy charm. The shoot relied on disciplined body language and expressive eye contact—using hand gestures to guide the viewer's focus and leveraging sofa textures to elevate fabric presence. Whether standing or sitting, keeping the spine straight and core braced maintains vibrant energy even in relaxed seated poses. For a tech-infused booth environment, infusing poses with controlled tension alongside metal, leather, and wire mesh yields a thoroughly cool aesthetic. Staged in a convention setting, I also observed ambient set pieces carefully: the black folding storage crates stacked on the left, printed with industrial lettering and GPU model numbers, served as excellent framing assets that deepened spatial depth. For the third frame, adjusting my posture along the diagonal formed by the armrest and backrest broke visual stiffness while highlighting body curves. The glasses served as a brilliant accessory as well; glancing at the lens through the lenses added an intellectual contrast. Under directional lighting, the white thigh-high stockings showed a subtle translucent sheen, standing out as a signature highlight of this ensemble. To harmonize with the background neon, using cool-toned white light as the key source brightened skin tones while forming a dynamic temperature contrast with the pink jacket, enriching the overall color story.
