Shooting this Qipao look for Rem, I mainly wanted to try a type of laziness and spontaneity different from the traditional. Blue hair paired with a white flower wreath is Rem's iconic feature. This time, I chose an off-white improved short Qipao; the gold piping and frog button details add a touch of retro charm. During the shoot, I cleverly used a Chinese-style circular chair and a background covered with calligraphy, using a reclining pose to extend my legs upside down, with black high heels outlining sharp lines under the backlight. This unconventional composition requires high control over movements; I had to keep my legs straight in line with my body while preventing the Qipao hem from exposing too much, so I tested positions with the photographer many times before shooting. The oblique light from the window formed beautiful contour light on the edges of my hair and clothes, giving the whole picture a layer of quiet, narrative feeling. In terms of props, there wasn't much stacking; the elegant scene alone was enough to support the character's temperament. Through this non-traditional pose and scene combination, I actually expanded the interpretation space for the character of Rem, letting a familiar character present a different freshness. Although holding this pose for a long time was a bit tiring, the final result really has visual impact, and it can be considered a special attempt.
