The summer limited edition official photos for Rem are finally out! The shoot took place at an outdoor pool. To fit the refreshing summer theme, the outfit featured a blue-and-white sailor-collar cropped short-sleeved top and pleated skirt, paired with white over-the-knee Stockings. The wig was trimmed with blunt bangs and accessorized with her iconic pink bow ribbon and a blue sailor hat. I chose bright blue contact lenses, focusing the makeup on clear, translucent eye details with a touch of soft pink blush across the cheeks.

The sunlight on the day of the shoot was fantastic—very intense, almost glaring. To take full advantage of this light, we started shooting around 3:00 PM. Shooting against the light, the sun hit the pool surface and body, creating a dreamy halo effect. Because the top is made of semi-sheer fabric, stepping into the water made it cling closely to the skin, offering a distinct texture from being dry, which is a unique highlight of summer Swimsuit cosplay. To capture splashing water effects, I had to repeatedly scoop water and lift my skirt in the pool. Water resistance is quite strong, and balancing core strength with facial expression management was a real workout.

Photo 1 features a profile glancing-back pose, an angle that beautifully highlights the waistline and the airy lightness of the skirt. Photo 2 is a frontal standing pose where I lifted the hem of the skirt as water droplets trickled down; against the backlight, each droplet appeared crisp and clear in the frame. Photo 3 captures an interactive crouching pose in the water, expressing a more playful vibe. Throughout the shoot, the photographer constantly reminded me to watch the water's surface reflections and adjusted exposure compensation to prevent blowing out highlights. Waterproof makeup was essential, though applying a light foundation actually looked more natural after getting in the water. We avoided heavy skin smoothing in post-processing to preserve natural skin texture. The entire session was exhausting, but the final outcome is deeply satisfying.
