The theme of the Halloween shoot was set in a vintage magic library, blending mystery with playfulness. The overall color scheme of the outfit relies on a classic combination of red, purple, and white, with bright pumpkin orange as an accent, visually fitting the festival atmosphere perfectly.

This Halloween-specialized styling adjusted many festival elements while retaining the character's iconic blue hair. Most striking is that exaggerated, wide-brimmed bright red witch's hat; the tension of the whole look relies entirely on it. A pink bow ribbon is tied to the side of the hat, adding a touch of girlish softness and liveliness to the intense red-purple tones.

The inner layer is a white tube top with meticulous ruffle detailing at the collar, ensuring a refreshing look for the neck and collarbone area while retaining the lace elements of the dress. The outer layer is a purple corset vest with striking red crisscross straps on the front, which, when combined with the high-waisted shorts underneath, nicely elongates the waistline. The small orange pumpkin pendant at the collar is a thoughtful touch for the upper body, adding a dash of cuteness.

For an outfit that needs to showcase character energy, I paired it with white over-the-knee socks featuring ruffled lace trim, echoing the collar. The deep purple platform boots add length to the overall proportions. During the shoot, the boots not only added height but their heavy texture contrasted with the light silk stockings and shorts, making the leg lines look sleeker.

Regarding props, besides the scattered pumpkin lanterns, the most interesting one is the red fork-shaped wand. It has a solid feel, serving well as a visual anchor during playful or defensive poses. Especially the fifth photo, where I propped my leg on the gold-carved wooden table while pointing the wand, fully displayed the outfit's vitality and spatial sense.

The scene was chosen in a vintage study set with dark wooden bookshelves stacked neatly with leather-bound ancient books and oil paintings in intricate frames. This serious, classical background created a strong visual impact with our bright red pumpkin lights and witch's hat, immersing the mood into a fairy-tale magic world.

We adjusted the color temperature of the lighting during the shoot, avoiding the coldness of pure white light, using instead warm-toned side-backlighting to outline the subjects. Against the red velvet sofa, the light became soft and textured. We experimented with various poses. Sitting on the sofa holding a pumpkin looked well-behaved, while wielding the wand required more exaggerated expressions and gestures. The cover photo features a full-body composition with one leg propped on the table corner—highly eye-catching in terms of line display and tension.

Although navigating the pumpkin lights was tricky, the final photo texture is heavy and rich. From the velvet sofa to the bookshelf lighting, it perfectly restored my expectations for this Halloween styling. It was a thoroughly satisfying cosplay photoshoot experience, showcasing the unique charm of the character in this special festival.
