Let's get straight to the point. A lot of thought went into the accuracy of this Nero costume for the shoot. Not long ago, at the Shanghai Eggy Party autograph session and related convention venues, I took the opportunity to get this photoset done.

In fact, the classic red and white styling that everyone frequently sees is much harder to execute than imagined. The deep V-cut requires an upright posture, and the red detached wide sleeves and golden shoulder armor accessories all required micromanaging details from scratch. Especially the embedding position and size of that ruby; I went through many accessories before finally settling on it.

For the hair section, we utilized a light blonde wig. That signature ahoge on top of the head is pure soul, though a lot of hairpins and styling spray were used to keep it standing up. The temperature on the shooting day was a bit stuffy, but we blasted the AC in the studio, and paired with high-power studio lights, it was truly a sweat-inducing experience; thankfully, the final output reached expectations. The reason for choosing blue-green contact lenses was to serve as a cool-toned accent against the overall white, red, and gold color palette, making the gaze more penetrating.

During the shoot, the backdrop set up by the photographer held a strong court garden feel. Blue hydrangeas and white flowers dotted the surroundings, which, combined with the gorgeous European crystal chandelier, created a highly romantic and hazy ambience. In this scene, there was actually no need for overly exaggerated movements; a semi-clasped hand gesture or a slight lift of the arm already transmitted the character's temperament, with emotions lingering in this serene demeanor. I personally prefer a sense of relaxation, so even in such a gorgeous attire, I tried my best to enter that tranquil state.

Regarding the Shanghai Eggy Party autograph session, going to the venue was honestly very delightful, meeting many fellow fans and people who love this character. That shared communication and unspoken understanding on set serve as the greatest motivation for doing cosplay. Because the schedule before and after was tight, this photoset was rushed out under a tight deadline. There were actually still some minor omissions in the costume; for instance, the arm wearables required highly precise securing, otherwise they would slide down while walking, but this is just a minor challenge brought by the character.

As for the makeup, a clean and translucent base was used, paired with highlights on the brow bone and nose bridge to sharpen the contours, beautifully preserving facial three-dimensionality even under flat studio lighting. During the shoot, I communicated with the photographer that I wanted to present a gentle yet firm feel without looking too harsh, so I kept my shoulders relaxed throughout and transmitted emotions through my gaze. The post-processing did not undergo excessive liquifying, preserving some authentic skin textures and light refractions, which I feel is more natural. The overall tone of this photoset is set to a clear, bright, high-key style, perfectly matching the grand and elegant atmosphere inherent to this character.
