Completing this photoset in just half an hour was a challenge of time management and the efficiency of coordinating with natural light. The texture and branching direction of this withered tree have great tension. Its weathered, rough quality, combined with the nearby shimmering lake surface and clean blue sky with white clouds, perfectly counterbalances the rigidity of the withered wood, constructing a cool and aloof atmosphere unique to a fantasy world. The scattered branches of the withered tree form a natural viewfinder, completely eliminating the need for us to adjust camera positions too much; once you stand there, it creates a wonderful visual framing.

Regarding the details of the costume, the black-and-blue base dress is paired with a cyan-blue sheer tulle shawl. This kind of semi-translucent material heavily relies on the wind. There happened to be a breeze during the shoot, and the moment the tulle fluttered, the sense of layering instantly became rich. The snowflake and ice-crystal ornaments dotting the clothes refracted beautiful stray light under the abundant outdoor lighting. Coupled with the elf ears prop and the silver-white twin-tails hair accessory, the fantasy feel of the overall styling and the character's temperament were restored quite accurately.

For the makeup and hair, I specially chose blue colored contact lenses to echo the attire, and the wig was tied into twin-tails with matching-colored hair ties, so it wouldn't look too heavy when the wind blew outdoors, making the dynamic movement feel much lighter.

Going back to the actual experience of the half-hour shoot, outdoor lighting is fleeting, so we had to start shooting rapidly as soon as we arrived at the location. Since the costume is a thin, light short skirt and required standing barefoot on the rough withered bark and gravel, finding my center of gravity and sense of balance was a problem that had to be resolved first. Messy hair and flying tulle, which are usually the biggest fears in outdoor photography, instead became the highlights of snapshots in this naturally windy outdoor scene. The dynamic motion of order within chaos actually reflects the character's temperament of sharpening fierceness and agility existing together.

In terms of posing, I didn't deliberately force any looks, but rather extended my body or leaned along the natural curve of the withered tree branches, keeping my hands as relaxed as possible and utilizing the sleeves of the outerwear to create a natural extension. Although time was tight, the success rate of the photos was surprisingly high, mainly benefiting from the characteristics of this withered tree itself and the abundant lighting. For this type of outdoor photography, there is no need to always rely on complex set designs; the color collision between the environment itself and the costume is instead what best expresses the pure, cool, and aloof feel in the character design.
