For Halloween, I chose this Japanese style look for Arknights' Mio. The blue and black gradient hair color paired with the white flower headpiece, combined with the black and red haori, carries the cold yet slightly dangerous aesthetic of an Eastern Monster/Ghost. During the shoot, I specially prepared props like paper lanterns, a tachi, and a pearl waist chain; under the warm lighting and dark-toned background, the contrast among red, white, and black is exceptionally prominent. I tried standing while holding the sword, kneeling while holding a scroll, and a half-body close-up in front of the red sun background, hoping to capture the character's mysterious yet dashing temperament. Although it's a female ghost outfit, I didn't intentionally go for a horror route; instead, it feels more like a shikigami patrolling under the moon. I'm quite satisfied with the light, shadow, and composition this time, especially the one with the red sun background, where the silhouette and layers really stood out. I hope this set of Halloween-style photos allows fellow fans to feel another layer of charm from Arknights characters.
