[Amiya cosplay] Arknights Offline Booth: Cheese Stick Feeding Diary

Appearing at the convention booth today as Amiya, this blue-and-white dress paired with iconic bunny ears faithfully captured Rhodes Island's beloved sweetness. The twintail wig demanded meticulous styling to retain natural, bouncy volume, while the delicate lace headpiece needed constant adjustments under bright convention lighting to stay properly aligned. For makeup, I chose brilliant vivid-blue contact lenses to highlight Amiya's spirited charm.

The booth staging was exceptionally creative—walls lined with cheese wheel props and colossal duck-head snack bags set a whimsical, childhood-fairytale tone. Holding that oversized cheese stick bag required genuine arm strength during shooting; executing the playful raised-leg stance placed major demands on core balance. Balancing atop the booth platform in black Mary Janes and lace-trimmed White stockings while projecting spontaneous cuteness took considerable physical calibration.

The 'Until the Earth Turns into a Lime' creator support initiative inspired me to showcase the relaxed, snack-loving domestic side of the character, breaking away from conventional grim wartime seriousness. Venue lighting was notoriously chaotic, so I continually angled my head to catch the optimal key light across my brow and nose bridge for dimensional facial contouring.

Photographers guided me through feeding poses with the giant snack pouch, while fellow cosplay companions helped straighten skirt ruffles between takes. Hugging such a hefty prop made forearm veins tense, yet keeping facial expressions breezy and sweet was paramount for the camera. The bold contrast between crimson stage drapes and bright yellow frames was striking; under harsh overhead exhibition downlights, the intricate lace textures showed beautifully without blowing out. I adore the tiered ruffled petticoat of this dress—it flutters naturally during movement, which, paired with the oversized crimson back bow, creates gorgeous visual layering.

The lace-trimmed socks and glossy black leather shoes added undeniable youthful innocence, even if standing atop the booth riser all day left the soles of my feet aching. The attendees were wonderfully passionate—whenever someone called out Amiya's name, I turned around instinctively to answer in character, creating delightful moments of breaking the fourth wall. During pre-production, I rehearsed hand postures in the mirror for hours, knowing Amiya's cute mannerisms rely on subtle wrist curves to look genuinely adorable.

Beyond standard standing stances, I tried seated poses on the platform with hands framing my cheeks. This angle cleanly showcased the skirt volume and leg contours paired with White stockings, making it my absolute favorite shot of the set. Hugging those whimsical cartoon-illustrated sacks genuinely felt like attending an eccentric snack festival. Cosplay extends beyond donning a costume; it is living the character's mindset. Even between breaks, I maintained disciplined posture to prevent smudging makeup. Bringing Amiya to this offline convention was exhausting, but seeing the lively on-site interactivity preserved in the final cuts makes every ounce of effort worthwhile.
