[Amiya cosplay] In Rhodes Island's Daily Life, I Also Want a Refreshing Summer Like This

This time, I'm bringing you Amiya's summer style look, choosing to shoot on the campus stairs and outdoor platforms. The entire outfit is dominated by blue and white plaid, paired with an off-the-shoulder top, making it visually lighter and more breathable, perfect as a refreshing Summer outfit. The hair accessories and collar retain Amiya's iconic blue elements, while a light gray gradient treatment at the hair ends gives the long hair more layers under backlighting. The hair-like texture of the rabbit ear headpiece was intentionally fine-tuned to make it look more natural and avoid looking stiff.

Natural light was primarily used during the shoot, and the shutter speed was kept relatively fast to ensure clear snapshots of the fluttering skirt and hand movements. Meanwhile, the architectural lines and greenery in the background formed a warm-and-cool contrast, enhancing the overall transparency of the frame. The character Amiya from Arknights inherently possesses a strong trait of gentleness and determination, so I tried my best to keep my facial expressions relaxed without overly dramatic emotions; a softer gaze brings it closer to her daily state on the bridge. The fluffiness of the wig was also repeatedly trimmed to make the head contour look fuller.

Characters with rabbit ears always put the position and angle of the headpiece to the test. This time I adjusted it several times to find the perfect balance between the profile and the top-down perspective. The costume fabric uses a relatively thin yet structural cotton blend, so the skirt won't collapse when flared. Coupled with the bow at the waist, the lines look very clean from the side. Capturing this look was quite challenging with lighting, especially outdoors, where heavy shadows from top lighting must be avoided. Therefore, a reflector was used most of the time to fill in the light, making the facial skin tone look even and translucent.
