"Hide first, then reload~" Seeing this final shot, the first thing that popped into my head was this line from the game that fits Alice's personality so well. This time, I had the pleasure of collaborating with photographer "Wait For Me To Buy Oranges" to complete this set of Alice Cosplay photography based on Alice from Goddess of Victory: Nikke in a meticulously decorated pink room.
Regarding this outfit styling, the main piece is a white dress decorated with abundant lace, white tulle, and ribbons, paired with detached arm sleeves and a white headpiece featuring a plush texture and bows. To recreate the character's core visual elements, the hair uses a pale pink wavy long wig, paired with lace-trimmed white thigh-high stockings, striving to present Alice's signature innocent, dreamy, slightly naive, and airy maiden charm.
The shooting venue was set in an ultimate pink space. The setup was truly created with great care: fully covered pink plush carpet, a pink e-sports chair with cartoon throw pillows, neon signboards and pennants dotting the wall, alongside a pink decorative Christmas tree and classical plaster statue in the corner, all filling the entire composition with fairytale-like Anime cosplay color. Props like the e-sports gaming chair, the pink controller on the desk, and the Pac-Man plush toy cleverly integrated her role as an E-sports girl.
To fit the setting of "hide first, then reload," we experimented with different poses. The first photo shows me sitting obediently on the plush mat with both hands raised in a playful gesture, appearing quite adorable. The second, which is my personal favorite and chosen as the cover, shows me reclining lazily on the e-sports chair, legs resting high on the desk edge while holding a pink game controller. This posture smoothly showcases the leg lines wrapped in white lace stockings, and combined with post-production flash effects and controller dynamics, presents a relaxed yet cool presence amidst combat gaps. The third switches to kneeling on the carpet, leaning against the gaming chair with one hand resting on my chin, adding a sense of static elegance and mystery.
The shooting process was actually filled with challenges, testing not only the understanding of character body language, but also strict attention to outfit details. To maintain the airy feel of the white tulle and prevent too many creases in the stockings and skirt, an assistant helped smooth out the clothes almost every time the camera angle changed. Managing the wig was also crucial; long pink curly hair easily gets frizzy, requiring constant attention to hair flow.
I really love this scene setup combining e-sports elements with a dreamy maiden style. Alice seems like a cute, dazed girl in the game, but her combat style is extremely hardcore—this gap moe is precisely the charm of this character. The photographer's lighting was remarkably soft; low-contrast pinkish-white light preserved visual layers while blending white clothes and the pink environment into one, creating a powerful sense of dreaminess. White lace revealed rich texture details under soft light, and the headpiece became a wonderful visual focus.
Captured through the lens and lighting, the pink room felt like a tailored space custom-made for the character. We used high-saturation pink props across the scene as accents to keep the image from looking overly white. The color scheme of that pink e-sports chair was a perfect match for her vibe; sitting on it, I felt completely immersed in the character's dimension.
I hope these frozen moments convey Alice's pure and captivating qualities. From outfit prep and room decoration to repeated composition discussions with the photographer, all our dedication crystallizes in these final shots. It was a thoroughly satisfying shoot experience.
