Today, the stage costume shoot for Liino from Arknights: Endfield finally wrapped up smoothly—standing in the center lead vocalist spot was an absolute blast. Starting with the overall impressions of the outfit, the blue-and-white color palette is stunningly vibrant. The top features a sailor collar design paired with detached white arm sleeves printed with the number "00", offering a crisp, structured texture. Combined with a blue corset and dark floral embellishments, the layering is rich and distinct. The orange lanyard at the neck and the small purple crossbody pouch at the waist inject plenty of techwear flair. The prop staff was crafted with remarkable finesse; the silver star-shaped frame coupled with the purple halo ring and central gem gave it substantial weight in hand.
The lower half of the ensemble really puts body proportions to the test: the deep blue pleated mini skirt is bordered with white five-pointed stars over multi-layered dark linings. To enhance the overall stage presence, I wore black over-the-knee stockings paired with platform shoes in black, blue, and purple. While the platform shoes were slightly tricky to walk in, their leg-elongating effect was incredible. Under the lens, the pairing of black stockings and platform shoes photographed exceptionally well, smoothing out leg lines and creating great visual tension with the mini skirt during dynamic poses and dance moves. The blue gloves also featured meticulous details, with tailored stitching across every knuckle joint.
The shoot took place in a vintage study where black-and-white checkerboard floor tiles created strong visual impact. The background—adorned with red velvet curtains, a crystal chandelier, a black grand piano, an antique mantel clock, a wooden desk, and a vintage typewriter—provided a wonderful clash of styles for this anime cosplay blending futuristic sci-fi and magical elements. Before the camera, I tried various poses, such as standing on one leg raising the staff high, striding sideways, making a peace sign by my cheek, and sitting on a wooden chair hugging a sheet music book. To capture the best dynamic motion, I adjusted my jumps and spins repeatedly. The lighting was fantastic, especially in the fifth shot with smoke effects; the hazy atmosphere dialed the vibe up to the max, giving the staff-wielding pose explosive stage presence.
This Liino costume boasts endless intricate details, such as the purple chest bow, lace trims, blue piping on the sleeves, as well as the black stockings and garter rings. In front of the lens, I wanted to fully convey this energetic, confident, yet subtly mysterious charm. As a cosplayer, bringing beloved characters to life and exploring distinct atmospheres is always a joyful journey. Landing the lead vocalist center spot felt like delivering a satisfying tribute to this cosplay. From fittings to final makeup, and communicating lighting angles with the photographer on set, everything went seamlessly. The combination of platform shoes and black stockings against the checkerboard floor visually elongated my silhouette. I can't wait to take on more diverse Liino looks next time.
