Sharing the recording of this Zenless Zone Zero Sunna cosplay photo shoot with everyone. To maximize the atmospheric feel of the photos this time, we chose a venue filled with neon lights and vintage electronic equipment in an esports area. The prominent "GAMING ZONE" glowing text in the background, game controller light boards, combined with stacked vintage CRT televisions and speakers, naturally bring a cyberpunk street vibe that matches the character's tone exceptionally well.
In terms of clothing matching, I focused on recreating that soft and cute style mixed with subculture elements. The white short-sleeve shirt features puff sleeves and ruffled lace design, paired with a black glossy layered pleated skirt; the basic pieces look extremely appealing. The red star tie is definitely the visual focal point, bringing out the layering of the upper body instantly. To increase the volume and ACG concentration of the overall styling, I used pink-and-white striped knitted arm covers and matching slouchy leg warmers. Such bulky leg warmers are truly expressive in front of the lens, not only refining the leg lines wonderfully but also drawing attention to the legs. Although the pink chunky platform dad shoes on my feet have some weight, they can elongate proportions remarkably. The pink leather buckle garter on the leg, black straps, and the leather choker on the neck inject a hint of cool and dashing techwear vibe into the well-behaved look.
The pink backpack on the back was added with two white angel wings, paired with the complexly styled pink-and-white megaphone prop in hand; these irregular props make the entire frame richer and prevent it from appearing monotonous.
Regarding the hairstyle, the light-golden slightly curly twin-tail wig has a great texture under the lights. I specially clipped a micro handheld console and a D-pad-shaped black hairpin onto the bangs, with the iconic large cyan bow on top of the head. In terms of makeup, I used light-colored contact lenses leaning towards pinkish-purple, emphasizing the blush and aegyo-sal under the eyes, overall presenting a delicate yet innocent makeup effect.
During the shoot, we made extensive use of the site's own purple-pink neon light. This kind of ambient light is extremely easy to shape three-dimensionality in photography, producing beautiful color reflections when hitting the white shirt and pink accessories. We tried camera positions from several different angles, such as sitting on a vintage television for a high-angle shot, which can nicely showcase the overall outfit proportions; and that final composition of lying directly inside a pink shopping cart—although curling up made it a bit cramped, the angle of the raised legs happened to fully display the details of the leg warmers and shoes. The whole process was completed through continuous posture adjustment and searching for the best lighting source.
