After waiting on this rooftop for quite a while, the sunset finally dipped to an angle that perfectly bathed the umbrella surface and the tips of my hair. Choosing an open-air parking lot for this outdoor shoot was indeed a bit challenging, but the natural light during the twilight rooftop exterior made the silver-white hair and cyan gradient ends look highly transparent, providing a sufficiently soft undertone for the entire JK-style base look.

The overall look features a white sailor jacket, a greyish-blue plaid pleated skirt, a mint green bowtie, and a golden wheat ear badge. The details of the accessories perfectly match her style in the original game—slightly cool on the outside but soft on the inside. The transparent umbrella was the core prop for this outdoor shoot; it could both block the wind and act as an excellent soft-light diffuser, even refracting a bit of a halo under the sunset backlight. Regarding makeup, the focus was on highlighting the purple colored contacts and warm pink eyeshadow, aiming to create a more vivid and layered gaze.

The wind was quite strong, so the way the wig blew around as I walked actually felt effortless. A few candid shots of the flying hair carried a richer sense of storytelling than pre-designed poses. The cooperation with photographer @FriedInstantNoodles went very smoothly. During composition for this anime-style photography session, we intentionally kept some open space to blend the character's silhouette into the gradient colors of the sunset glow.

The entire process of producing these photos was actually a deep dialogue with this small thing called cosplay. From preparing Firefly's outfit and styling the silver-white to cyan gradient wig to finally standing on the rooftop facing the wind, every step was an effort to closely match the character's atmospheric vibe. I hope this work can convey that sense of lightness of 'becoming yesterday's tomorrow.'
