Regarding this Columbina Cosplay photoshoot, what I wanted to convey most is the fragile feeling of the character hanging between illusion and reality. When setting up this costume, I found that securing the wig and wings took more time than expected. Especially for the white wings, in order to not look bulky on camera, the internal structure was adjusted repeatedly several times to achieve the current angle. The lighting on the day of the shoot was adjusted very dimly to create an atmosphere under the moonlight. The materials of the streamers and bandages reflected obviously under the side light, which perfectly highlighted the folds of the clothes and the texture of the feathers. Because the character wears a blindfold, conveying emotion completely relies on head posture and hand movements to make up for it. I tried various poses like leaning against a pillar and clasping hands together, but in the end, I felt the photo of curling up next to the white Roman column best reflects that ethereal yet slightly lonely vibe. As a fan-made Roleplay attempt, I also hoped to recreate the feeling of the character contemplating under the quiet moonlight. In terms of details, the golden patterns on the clothes and the wrapping method of the white bandages were matched against the original design from Genshin Impact for a long time to achieve a great effect for this Anime-style photography set.
