For hair and makeup, straight-cut bangs paired with dark blue-black twin tails formed the foundation, while lighter-toned cosmetic contacts were chosen to enhance the gaze with innocent clarity and translucence. To complement the cool color palette, the base makeup was calibrated to brighten the complexion and neutralize yellow undertones. In terms of accessories, the blue ribbons and plush pom-pom tassels on the rabbit-eared hood were custom-made; they carried noticeable weight, demanding substantial effort to keep my head balanced properly while posing. The wardrobe centered on this high-neck sleeveless White knit sweater, where cutouts at the neckline and waist tested the penetration and falloff of the studio lighting. Plush leg warmers accented with matching blue ribbons echoed the colorway, while shooting barefoot aligned with the character concept and overall ambiance, better conveying vulnerability and fluid bodily silhouettes.

During the shoot, the studio set was staged with a white plush rug framed by pale blue floral clusters. The photographer first guided me to try the cross-legged seated pose in Photo 1 atop the rug—a posture anchoring center weight around the tailbone, leaning slightly backward with hands clasped across the ankles. Keeping the spine erect while keeping the arms organically relaxed was essential to prevent visual rigidity. For Photo 2, the framing shifted: kneeling on the floor, I cradled an oversized white plush bolster in front of me, its weight resting against my legs to evoke a languid yet guarded aura beneath lowered eyelids. Shooting relied heavily on real-time communication with the photographer to direct eyelines, micro-adjusting between subtle upward glances and steady direct gazes into the lens.

Regarding my interpretation of Ryuge Kisaki: while her in-game persona leans composed and calculating, I focused more on her intrinsic cool detachment and authoritative presence, steering clear of exaggerated expressions to convey emotion through nuanced shifts in gaze and lip tension. Capturing these micro-expressions under studio lights demands an acute awareness of light and shadow. Between pose transitions, lint-rolling was an ongoing chore; the knit wool and plush carpet shed loose fibers easily, requiring constant rolling before and during shooting.

Studio temperatures were rather low that day. Wearing a sleeveless sweater and culottes while sitting bare-legged on the rug meant chilly drafts crept in constantly, leaving me to bundle into a coat between takes to stave off the cold. The White knit sweater carried exquisite texture but was prone to light transparency, requiring ongoing coordination with the gaffer to soften the illumination. From makeup testing to wrapping the session took nearly four hours, with most of the time spent refining fabric drape and the tilt angle of the Fluffy rabbit ears. Because both postures required strong core equilibrium—especially the cross-legged sit, where adjusting ankle placement prevented unflattering leg contours—the shoot demanded static control over dynamic action. Transmitting her commanding aura through minimal facial shifts was my central creative priority. To ensure facial shadows remained pristine under high-key illumination, the makeup artist stayed close for continuous touch-ups, making seamless teamwork vital. Pushing this cool-toned palette of whites and blues to its visual limits, I hope this finished work faithfully captures the character's evocative visual soul.
