[Ryuge Kisaki cosplay] Blue Archive white-haired kitty's at-home moments

This time I am bringing the cosplay shoot of Ryuge Kisaki from Blue Archive. To fit the kitty theme, I put a lot of effort into the styling. The white plush animal headwear on top of the head is the core of the entire outfit; the ear parts are made very three-dimensional, and the hanging white pom-poms and blue bow decorations add a lot of liveliness to the overall look. The wig selected is blunt-bangs black short hair, with trimmed layers to let the hair ends naturally fit the face shape. In terms of makeup, the blue pupils and facial blush were emphasized, with the blush applied relatively heavily to create that shy yet lazy kitty-girl feel. The clothing is a white plush off-the-shoulder top, matched with plush wrist cuffs of the same color.

The shooting scene was chosen on the bed in the bedroom, covered with pure white bedsheets, and placed with some comic books and a huge brown teddy bear doll as accents. The lying posture in picture one was designed by myself: both legs are kicked up backward, white cloth strips are tied around the ankles as leg warmer covers, and both hands are clenched into fists supporting the chin, looking directly at the lens. This action actually tests core strength quite a bit; staying prone for too long makes the waist a bit sore, but to capture that lazy feeling of a cat stretching, the angle was repeatedly adjusted several times. To increase the layering of the frame, I scattered a few opened comic books around me, and placed a pair of brown-rimmed glasses in the lower right corner, creating a daily atmosphere of just waking up or reading a book.

In picture two, I switched to a sitting posture, holding an opened book with both hands, looking at the lens from above the book. When shooting this one, attention must be paid to the hand posture, not letting the book completely block the face while keeping the shoulders relaxed. Picture three is a close-up hugging a white throw pillow, with the chin resting on the pillow and fingers gently grasping the edge of the pillow, showcasing the light-colored manicure.

In terms of lighting, to highlight the softness of the plush material, the photographer used high-key, bright soft light, making the entire frame present a clean and transparent tone. During the shooting process, although the plush material of the headwear looks great in photos, wearing it is indeed a bit stuffy, and it had to be taken off for some fresh air after shooting for a while. The overall rhythm of this shoot was relatively relaxed, mainly capturing some natural at-home states and avoiding overly rigid posing.

I have always liked the quiet yet slightly playful temperament in the character Kisaki, so I wanted to use this set of indoor at-home style photos to showcase her cat-like soft side. From the plush texture of the clothing to the placement of the props, everything was designed to make the whole frame more full of life breath. The post-processing of this set of photos also tried to keep the skin texture and the natural transition of light without excessive color modification. The whole shooting process went very smoothly, and I also tried many actions I hadn't tried before, making it a very pleasant shooting experience.
