This Roco Kingdom elf gijinka Fan-made design cosplay took about half a month from preparation to final photos. Since it was a relatively flexible custom concept, we didn't strictly replicate the original canonical design. Instead, together with photographer @DEMON and the studio @奇秘幻境影棚, we bounced around many ideas. For the overall visual, I hoped to evoke the sensation of wandering through the streets of an alternate world.

The wig was chosen with a light blonde base and bright blue highlights. The Animal ears prop on top of the head was the key focal point of the entire photo set; grooming and adjusting them to ensure the fur texture looked natural took quite a while. For makeup, I deepened the eyeshadow layers to accentuate the magical essence of an elf. As for wardrobe styling, I wanted to experiment with mixing different elements: wearing a pink hoodie with black flower patches and red graffiti to add a distressed street vibe. The blue-and-white checkered bandana around the neck and the giant blue five-pointed star necklace served as the finishing touches, complemented below by loose white cargo pants, metal chains, and black platform boots—giving the overall look clear anime traits while carrying a touch of rebellious flair.

The Beijing studio photoshoot set matched my imagination impeccably. Vintage display equipment, metal ladders, yellow-and-black hazard warning stripe railings, and dangling iron chains, combined with a large pink backdrop and shimmering reflective flooring, created a sharp visual contrast. When posing with a skateboard prop, I kept my body dynamic and relaxed—such as naturally resting a hand on the equipment while sitting beside vintage instruments, or holding the skateboard in front of my chest to utilize its geometric shape to enrich the composition. The photographer was very meticulous with lighting, specifically readjusting lamp positions to highlight the graffiti on the hoodie and the necklace's reflections. Standing beside the ladder required special attention to weight placement; turning slightly sideways better showcased the outfit's layers while elongating the leg lines.

The entire shoot went very smoothly. This TFP collaboration not only connected me with an amazing photographer and studio but also gave me ample room for free expression in interpreting this elf gijinka Fan-made design cosplay. I infused my imagination of how an elf navigates the fringes between industry and urbanity into my poses and gaze. The final photos turned out rich in atmosphere, perfectly delivering that nimble yet effortlessly cool vibe I envisioned.
