This white military-style uniform was custom-made specifically for Atago, and my immediate reaction upon unboxing was just how meticulously the details were executed. The stand-up collar design, paired with golden piping, ornate buttons, and the red-heart crest across the chest, effortlessly marries the stern solemnity of a naval uniform with the character's signature sultry allure. The shoulders feature a cut-out design, allowing the graceful lines of the neck and shoulders to shine with even a subtle turn of the torso. For the wig, I went with a classic hime-cut black straight long style, leaving long sidelocks to frame the face; paired with the black headband bearing Animal ears and white ribbon bows atop my head, the 'big puppy' persona came alive immediately.

The gloves are pure white, adorned with circular golden trim around the wrists that echoes the accents on the uniform. The lower half features a high-slit white mini skirt paired with semi-sheer over-the-knee Black stockings edged with lace, along with white platform high heels. This combination visually elongates leg proportions dramatically; slightly tiptoeing or crossing the legs during poses made the silhouettes look even sleeker. The katana held in hand was a prop featuring a black scabbard, golden tsuba, black-cord wrapped tsuka, and white tassels hanging from the pommel. It was quite long, so maneuvering it required keen awareness of where the blade and scabbard pointed—a slight mishandling could easily obscure the face or disrupt the composition, so I continually calibrated my grip to make the sword an organic extension of my body rather than a cumbersome weight.

This was a pure white cyclorama studio shoot with wonderfully balanced lighting. Stark white backdrops can easily wash out white garment layers, so the photographer added rim lighting from the side to carve out fabric textures and define the golden trim edges cleanly. Because these were static frames, dynamic tension in posing became paramount. Atago carries a canine archetype whose personality blends big-sisterly gentleness with an undercurrent of possessive danger. Channeling this duality, I aimed for an intense, commanding gaze locked directly into the camera lens while keeping body curves soft and fluid—touching my chin, gently lifting the skirt hem, or glancing back over my shoulder. For instance, the over-the-shoulder look in the third shot required turning repeatedly to catch the flying motion of the hair; controlling the arc of swinging synthetic hair is notoriously tricky, and selecting a deeply satisfying frame made all the repeated takes worth it.

Putting on the stockings carefully was quite time-consuming: keeping the delicate lace bands level above the knees without rolling or snagging required easing them upward millimeter by millimeter. The platform heels elongated my frame nicely, yet standing for hours left the soles of my feet and calves quite sore. Executing this entire cosplay demanded far more physical stamina than meets the eye, requiring constant core contraction, an arched chest, and pointed toes throughout the session. Nevertheless, seeing how harmoniously the garments, textures, and props converged in the final shots validated every bit of fatigue. After wrapping up, I plan to pack and store the outfit and props carefully, looking forward to trying an outdoor location shoot with different creative angles when the next opportunity arises.
