This time, I'm sharing a summer-themed look for Luo Tianyi, shot at an outdoor recreational location featuring a reflective pool. The outfit styling revolves around a crisp and casual concept, pairing a bright yellow off-the-shoulder crop top with deep navy blue denim shorts to create a high-contrast color-blocking visual effect. The eye-catching orange and blue striped bow on the chest serves as the visual anchor, complemented by layered colorful beaded necklaces and delicate metallic chokers, adding rich depth and signature 2D details to the simple outfit.

For hair, I selected a silver-gray long wavy wig. To highlight the summer energy, I specifically clipped bright yellow flower hairpins along with star and moon accessories on both sides. In terms of makeup, to fit the character impression, I wore turquoise-tinted contact lenses, while a heart pattern on the cheek made the face look more three-dimensional and playful. Maintaining this type of base makeup under hot and humid outdoor conditions is quite challenging. Before shooting, I applied a durable primer base and paid close attention to avoiding glare during fill-lighting, ensuring the makeup appeared clean and fresh from every angle.

The largest prop for this shoot was that striking large red inflatable ball. Early on, we considered props of various colors, but ultimately settled on this high-saturation red. Set against the green outdoor lawn and the light blue reflective pool, red, yellow, and blue formed a classic primary-color contrast. Lifting this ball was actually far heavier than expected. For instance, in Photo 3, where I held it high above my head with both hands, I had to precisely engage my upper body muscles to maintain balance and vertical compositional length without making my shoulders look stiff. While finding angles near the water holding the ball, there was a little episode where it almost rolled into the pool; the momentary flurry resulted in a few naturally candid snapshots instead.

The ground-level reflective pool was the highlight of this photoshoot, reflecting the sky, trees, and lawn like a mirror, giving the space a translucent openness. For the photography, a slightly wider lens was chosen to enhance visual tension, which, combined with the water's reflection, focused visual attention on the interaction between the character and the red ball. In Photo 4, I tried a tilted seated composition, heavily angling the camera down from an overhead perspective to elongate proportions for a more relaxed feel. Sitting on the wooden bench required careful leg placement, complementing white daisy sandals so foot details echoed the top-half styling.

Overall, the photoshoot went much smoother than imagined. Interacting with the big red ball injected plenty of vitality into the frames, while the sunlit hair styling and off-the-shoulder cut kept the overall vibe lively rather than drab. Although this summer outfit incorporated some personalized tweaks that might lean slightly OOC (out of character), it successfully captured the relaxed, energetic, and unpretentious atmosphere I personally adore.
