This shoot of Princess Lusa's styling mainly focuses on the blending of character and scene for Atmospheric photography. On the makeup side, the red colored contacts are the finishing touch, which, paired with white straight brows and a relatively thin eyeliner, creates a look that is both ethereal and slightly mysterious. To make the eyes look more focused, I intentionally added a light pink gradient under the eyes to add a hint of a wronged or innocent temperament.
The white wig was layered and trimmed, and the luster of the hair strands looks very soft under the warm light. The hair bun on top of the wig increases the cranial top height, making the face shape look more delicate. Meanwhile, the tiara with purple crystals and gold branches on top of the head adds to the overall magnificence. Multiple hairpins were used for fixation when wearing it to ensure it wouldn't shift due to the range of movements during the shoot. The dropping black hair ribbon forms a sharp contrast with the long white hair, giving the head area a richer visual layer.
For the clothing, a large area of white was chosen, with a light and breathable fabric that has a natural wrinkled texture on the surface. Thick gold threads outline the neckline and waistline, enhancing the character's exotic and luxurious temperament. The golden armlets and dangling golden chain accessories chime with the metallic elements in the environment. Since it is an off-the-shoulder design, handling the base layer and seamless underwear required some thought to avoid any awkward marks under the light and shadow for this Cosplay outfit.
The scene arrangement is one of the key highlights of this shoot. Utilizing exotic-style woven carpets, vintage patterned throw pillows, and golden coins scattered on the ground makes it feel as if standing in some mysterious ancient kingdom market. The sequined fabric on the left serves as a foreground, producing mottled light spots under illumination to enhance the narrative feel of the frame. Combining natural light with indoor fill lights simulates the warm tones of spilling sunlight, making the character's skin tone look more translucent while preserving the delicate texture of the skin.
In terms of composition, a full-body perspective that displays both the costume and the scene was chosen. The sitting pose naturally elongates the body lines, while simple hand movements make the overall look more vivid instead of appearing stiff. During the shoot, the angle of the light source was intentionally adjusted to let the tiara and armlets reflect highlights, brightening the visual center of the frame. I also tried interacting with different small props, such as curling the hair ends with my fingers or tilting my head slightly toward the lens, making the final photos more dynamic for this Game character recreation.
Overall, this exotic-style cosplay attempt seeks a balance between detail restoration and atmospheric rendering, hoping to express the character's casual yet magnificent, yet cold and lonely traits.
