This time, attempting to challenge Princess Lusha from Shiyakata 2, the core focus is on how to restore the highly visually impactful gorgeousness and sense of oppression of the "Gilded Cage." To coordinate with this specific scene, I specially invested a lot of thought into the material selection of the costume and the polishing of the accessory details. The white skirt hem needs to balance puffiness and drape, while the large amount of golden metal accessories serves as the finishing touch. Illuminated by the photography lights, it can better outline a court-style luxurious texture, as if the character is truly inside a magnificent cage.
In the actual photography process, controlling the layers of light and shadow is the key to this creation. By cleverly utilizing smoke, we created a sense of space intertwined with reality and illusion against the complex background, making Princess Lusha's image look even more detached and broken in its elegance amidst the rich golden tones. Every eye contact alignment and every micro-adjustment of body dynamics is to precisely capture that noble yet contradictory emotion deep within the character's heart. From the color schemes of the early makeup and styling to the delicate color grading in post-production, I hope to push the sense of atmosphere to the extreme, allowing every shot to bring an immersive aesthetic experience to the audience. This creation is not only a test of character accuracy, but also a deep practice of overall composition and light and shadow aesthetics. The polishing of every detail stems from the love for the character and the pursuit of high-quality Anime-style photography.
