Bringing Lucy from Cyberpunk 2077 to life this time was a thrilling creative venture. To authentically channel her aura, the hair and cosmetics centered on a sleek silvery-white wig with pastel gradient highlights along the tips. For the eyes, intense crimson blending around the lash lines paired with specialized contact lenses allowed me to step into her stoic, aloof headspace immediately.
The wardrobe features her signature high-gloss black latex catsuit with a patent vinyl sheen and a geometric chest emblem, layered beneath an off-the-shoulder cropped white jacket. High-cut cutout hips, white shorts, knee-high armored boots, and an integrated Stocking leg garter sculpted her iconic silhouette. For posing, I rotated through characteristic gestures—holding a cigarette, flashing subtle hand signs, or shielding the lens with a raised hand. Maintaining an upright, arched posture while turning three-quarters with hands on hips elongated body lines.
Handling both photography and post-production, every element of lighting and set design was built around Cyberpunk cosplay tropes. Staging against a vibrant solid yellow backdrop forged bold chromatic friction, while post-processing infused chromatic aberration and digital glitch effects along the edges to merge reality with cyberspace. Secondary takes utilized icy-cyan lighting with pixelated holographic glare to evoke Night City's neon grime. The patent suit posed serious specular reflection challenges; lateral rim lights carved her contour while diffused softboxes filled the face, keeping the shiny fabric crisp without washing out textures.
Props were kept minimalist—a slender white rod served to elongate movement lines, while trailing neon light trails were synthesized in post to simulate cascading netrunning data streams. Infusing electronic, digital, and glitch motifs into Anime-style photography unlocked incredible expressive freedom, fully realizing Lucy's sharp cybernetic presence.
