The theme for this shoot was a sporty project centered around Marie's daily training attire from Blue Archive. Since the title mentioned landing a Pocari Sweat endorsement, we went ahead and used the water bottle as our core prop, integrating it into the locker room setting to add a touch of grounded, relatable fun.

Let's talk about the sportswear outfit styling first. The blue-and-white athletic jacket features a structured windbreaker cut with ribbed detailing at the collar and cuffs, layered over a crisp plain white tee to keep the visual look lively and clean. The lower half combines navy blue sports shorts with over-the-knee white stockings; the visual contrast between the white stockings and shorts does a wonderful job elongating the leg line. While honoring the character's original fresh athletic-student persona, we emphasized color contrast to create a vibrant collision between the orange wig and the blue-and-white apparel.

We also put careful thought into styling the wig and beast-ear accessories. Rather than just clipping the animal ears straight onto the head, we built them onto a headband base adorned with a few green floral accents and a white ribbon. This added rich dimension to the headpiece while perfectly complementing her gentle yet lively personality. To prevent the wig from looking too heavy on camera, we made subtle adjustments to the bangs and side strands, creating a natural, wind-swept texture that brings the look to life.

The set was styled like an equipment storage room or locker room. Green traffic cones and a red-and-white high-jump crossbar rested in the corner, set against beige-gray metal lockers and half-drawn blinds above. This enclosed space offered an intimate sense of privacy. Paired with warm indoor lighting interlaced with natural light from outside, it cast soft, dimensional halos across the subject and the background. The overall warm tone cultivated a relaxed post-training dusk atmosphere.

To capture the essence of a sporty girl, we didn't limit the poses to static standing. In the first shot, I sat sideways on a low stool and handed the water bottle toward the lens, creating an effortless sense of interaction. The second shot is my personal favorite: legs stretched straight forward and crossed, making the white stockings one of the visual focal points. Using a shallow depth of field, the blue water bottle in the foreground was softly blurred to draw the viewer's focus directly to me—adding depth while accentuating playful athleticism. The third shot utilized a low-angle perspective looking up as I raised the bottle overhead, amplifying the high-energy vibe.

Throughout the shoot, balancing the structure of the sports jacket with the smoothness of the inner shirt took work; every time I sat or raised my arms, we had to smooth out wrinkles to keep everything crisp in front of the lens. The cut of the shorts and the band position of the white stockings also had to align with leg poses so nothing looked constricted—all details refined repeatedly on-site.

Portraying a character with a sporty, slice-of-life charm through specific prop interactions helped break away from formulaic photo shoots. The water bottle infused a narrative thread into the imagery, evoking a candid moment from an ordinary training day. Immersing myself in this relaxed, comfortable state allowed me to bring out her quiet yet vibrant spirit through subtle eye contact and body language. Without extravagant setups, we truly froze that effortless youthful glow inside the locker room.
