These pink and white striped arm covers and leg warmers are the core visual focal point of the entire styling. Although the knitted material has good elasticity, staying under indoor lighting for too long still feels a bit stuffy, but for the sake of the photos, this small sacrifice is totally worth it. To match the character's cute setting, the top chosen was a light pink tight camisole, and the scattered cartoon patterns on the chest just neutralize the monotony of the large area of pink without making it look too flashy. The bottom is paired with washed grey-blue denim shorts, and the frayed cuffs and distressed ripped design add a bit of a street style, perfectly balancing the sweetness of the upper body.
I am very sorry for not being able to wear all the hair accessories this time. Since it was a last-minute idea shot right before removing my makeup, I could only pin the only black mini bow I could find to the side. This mint green wig actually requires quite a bit of styling time. I adjusted the curl of the twin tails for a long time; to make it look more natural and fluffy, I not only used a straightener to create slight curls, but also sprayed hairspray layer by layer. The thickness and length of the bangs were also trimmed, just covering the eyes as per the setting, creating a fuzzy, dreamy feel.
The white angel wings accessory on the back was put together by myself, and the wide black straps happened to form a nice contrast with the wings. Since it's a self-styled outfit, there are bound to be many out-of-character (OOC) aspects, and I hope everyone can be understanding. The pink toy horn held in hand in the third photo has a blue bow and black-and-white pattern stickers that I DIY-ed and pasted myself. Holding it during the photoshoot makes the overall poses look livelier and more interactive.
When taking mirror selfies, to clearly display the leg warmers and the inner white stockings, the pose of slightly lifting one leg is a very practical trick. This not only elongates the visual proportions of the legs, but also makes the layering of the platform shoes and knitted slouch socks more obvious. The arm pose is actually slightly restricted because holding the phone to block the face, but it happens to fully showcase the striped arm covers and black straps on the arms.
This overall pairing mainly aims to present a fully charged, energetic feeling. The cut of the clothing is relatively form-fitting, paired with various accessories, bringing a slight hint of personality to the cuteness. Although due to time constraints, I wasn't able to achieve 100% accuracy, I put a lot of thought into combining every little detail from head to toe. The limitation of mirror selfies lies in adjusting the lighting and angles, but as long as you find the right center of gravity and turn your body slightly to the side, you can take great pictures. In fact, although platform shoes can elongate proportions, they are indeed quite heavy, and you need to pay special attention to your balance when walking. However, for the sake of the overall styling feel, these shoes are definitely a bonus. I hope to have the opportunity to complete the full set of accessories in the future and present a more perfect state to everyone.
