This time cosplaying Milipoyu from COMPASS, a lot of thought went into everything from preparing the wig to matching props. Milipoyu has very distinct physical features, and I chose this styling of a pink shirt paired with a black tactical vest. The wig is golden with a pink gradient; to create that fluffy yet layered high ponytail, I deliberately fixed pink and blue plush balls on top of the head. The heart-shaped hairpin on the forehead and the blue "XI" lettering were also key points in the details, and to make them fit better, I adjusted their positions several times. In terms of clothing, the neckline of the long-sleeved pink shirt is tied with an exaggerated pink-and-blue striped bow, which adds many cute elements to the overall tough Tactical style. The black tactical vest on my body features side-release buckles and feels a bit stuffy to wear, but after adjusting the tightness, the visual layering is extremely strong. Tied around the waist is a large area of pink-and-blue tie-dye fabric, matched with a pink pleated short skirt and leg rings, creating a very dynamic feel when walking. The White stockings and black leather shoes matched on the lower body nicely neutralize the heaviness of the upper body. In terms of props, two black toy guns were prepared, painted with red, yellow, and pink coatings. The posture of holding the gun actually tests wrist strength quite a bit, especially when needing to raise both hands to strike a pose. To capture a cool yet relaxed state, I practiced the action transitions many times on the side of the venue. The environment on the shooting day was relatively dark, but fortunately, there was lighting setup and composition guidance from photographer Qingfeng Photography V, highlighting the main subject by dimming the background, and I really love the effect of the light hitting my face. In action design, I tried different postures such as clamping the gun in the crook of my arm or gesturing with both hands. The gesture of pointing finger guns with both hands in picture three is what I feel best embodies Milipoyu's playful yet slightly dangerous temperament. In terms of expression management, matched with purple-pink contact lenses and exquisite eye makeup, I tried my best to present a state drifting between cool and sweet. When shooting the convention outdoor locations, although the venue was limited and the background was somewhat cluttered, fortunately, the light and shadow handling was very well done. The smooth production of this set of pictures is inseparable from the photographer's cooperation and my own careful polishing. Every time I adjusted the wig arc and checked the clothing wrinkles, it was out of the hope of restoring the character's own temperament as much as possible. The trip to this IJOY Anime & Game Festival was very fulfilling, thanks to Qingfeng Photography V for the photo return, see you next IJOY.
