The theme for this shoot was a Shiba Inu maid, built on a warm palette of caramel browns and cream whites. To bring out an energetic vibe, the costume featured plaid fabrics layered with white lace trims, completed by a plush Shiba Inu ear headband and fuzzy wrist cuffs. For the legs, opaque White stockings were paired with chunky black block-heel Mary Janes, visually elongating body proportions.
Opting for White studio photography, the pure white infinity cyclorama illuminated by warm key lights accurately rendered the earthy textures of the fabrics without looking flat. Shooting with a wide aperture kept tack-sharp focus on facial expressions and the upper torso. The makeup featured rosy pink blush and softly blended crimson eyeshadow beneath straight bangs and bouncy twintails to enhance the anime charm.
Props were central to the shoot's playful narrative: alongside Rilakkuma and Kiiroitori plushies, we utilized a large cardboard box, spatulas, wooden spoons, and a pastry tray. The cardboard box made an incredible interactive prop—curling up inside while resting my chin on one hand, or leaning over the edge with eyes gently closed. Perching on a high stool while hugging pajama-clad Rilakkuma with crossed legs highlighted the crisp lines of the White stockings. Standing on a pedestal to mime cute cooking motions or holding a bread tray while pinching the apron hem imbued the frame with storytelling charm, balancing lively grins with peaceful daydreaming.
